If Lake can pick up the slack on offense, it's not a bad trade. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have dealt Q and Skinner so quickly, but I understand the reasons for making the deal. It's not as bad as it might look at first. You'll have to play a few more games before we all know for sure.

Bucks demolish the Lakers 122-92!!

Welcome to the NBA Lake, just his 2nd game starting and he has to face Shaq, well................Shaquille O'Neal meet Balthaser Lake, Lake took it right at him and didnt back down, Shaq had only 12pnts 8rebs 3blks 4asts for the game whilst the Rookie finished strong with 9pnts 13rebs 3blks 24mins 4-8FG's.
The Bucks were all over the Laker, and Kobe did everything he could, actually kept them close in the 1st half and the score was 49-48 Lakers way halftime! Kobe had 20 points.
Though Debuter Bruce Bowen put a lockdown on him and Kobe began to struggle from the field and finished with just 25pnts.

Bruce Bowen had 9pnts 2rebs 19mins 4-7FG's
Robert Horry had 11pnts 3rebs 2asts 4-5FG's
A solid Debut from both players.

Stephon Marbury had 21pnts 11asts(Tied Bucks record) 3rebs POG
Michael Redd 24pnts 4asts 3rebs
Zach Randolph 19pnts 14rebs
Desmond Mason 16pnts 4rebs 2asts

Lake Watch:
9pnts 13rebs 3blks 2asts 24mins
(Held Shaqulle O'Neal to 12pnts 8rebs)

We face Orlando next, it seems the trade worked out perfectly :D

Bucks suffer first loss to the hands of the Magic!

Nothing really went well for the Bucks all game!
I mean Bowen did hold T-Mac to just 16pnts 4rebs 3asts 8-25 shooting, but it was the rest of the role players that hurt us.
Howard had 16/12, Hill had 18pnts 8rebs 6asts,Williams had 9pnts 12asts and everyone on the Magic filled the gaps for T-Macs absence of offence.
Steven Hunter had 17pnts 12rebs 5blks to take POG

Zach Randolph was in foul trouble most the match, and never really got it going as he failed to post a double-double for the first time this season.

Michael Redd had 23pnts 4rebs 2asts but shot 7-21FG's
Robert Horry kept the game close with 19pnts 7rebs 2asts
Marbury had 16pnts 8asts 4rebs 2stls 7-20FG's
Randolph had 13/7.

Lake Watch:
6pnts 8rebs 4blks 22mins

By the way, Bonzi Wells,Stromile Swift,Carlos Boozer and Penny Hardaway are just some of the big names on the FA list.

Bucks breeze through the windy city!

The Bucks got back on the winning side of things tonight, with a 14pnt road victory over the Bulls.
After coming off there first loss in Orlando, the Bucks felt it was vital to come right back with a win.
Jay Williams tried his heart out for the Bulls and he had 10pnts in the first quarter, but sadly finished with just 14pnts.
Reigning Player of the Month Tyson Chandler had a subpar game, posting just 8pnts 6rebs.
Stephon Marbury constantly beat Williams and whoever tried to defend him, as he had a 22pnts 11ast game.
After the game GM Laddas finally had something to say!
"As a team, we feel we are more of a momentum team rather than a powerhouse team, if we have things going right, were gonna keep winning, but if we start losing consecutive games, then thats a problem.
Hopefully it doesnt happen, cause we have a full head of confidence right now" Said GM Laddas

Stephon Marbury 22pnts 11asts 4rebs 11-22FG's POG
Desmond Mason 25pnts 10-18FG's
Michael Redd 24pnts 5rebs 4asts
Zach Randolph 14pnts 8rebs 6asts
Dan Gadzuric 7rebs 7blks 15mins

Lake Watch
4pnts 8rebs 3asts 1blk 1-2FG's

Lake Analysis:
Still trying to find his rythym scoring wise, and is also still trying to sort out his role on this team, scoring or rebounding and defense, well coach Porter and GM Laddas want both.
Playing solid though with numbers of 7.5ppg 10.0rpg 1.2bpg 2.8apg 19.8mpg 8GP 3GS

I have 4 games to post, lol i kept forgetting to post them.

Game 1:

Det @ Mil

This game was all about Defense, Bucks with there improved defence, and the Pistons with there always tough defence locked horns.
It was a close game all the way through and no-one really ever had a convincing lead.
Anyway scores were 88-89 the Pistons way, with 13.4secs left, i ran an iso for Redd and he completley broke down Hamilton off the dribble, he drove hard to the hoop but was hit hard and no foul was call, but guess who was there for the loose ball.................ROOKIE SENSATION BALTHASER LAKE!!!
He grabbed the Offensive Board and dunked it right on Wallace's head.

Bucks win 90-89.

Stephon Marbury had 17pnts 6asts 6rebs POG
Zach Randolph 22pnts 8rebs 11-16FG's
Michael Redd 19pnts 7rebs 2asts 1stl
Desmond Mason 16pnts 4rebs 2asts

Lake Watch:
4pnts 8rebs 2blks 2asts 2-7FG's
Game 2:

Mil @ NO

I cant really remember much about this game, but we played an excellent team game to take the win 113-106.

Stephon Marbury again another POG performance with 19pnts 12asts* 4rebs 6-11FG's 7-7FT's
Michael Redd 21pnts 5rebs
Zach Randolph 20pnts 15rebs 8-8FT's
Bruce Bowen 14pnts 4rebs
Balthaser Lake 12pnts 6rebs 3blks 2asts
Damon Jones 12pnts 3rebs

*=New Bucks Record
Lake Watch:
12pnts 6rebs 3blks 2asts 6-8FG's

Game 3:

Mil @ Dal

This was a complete opposite from the Detroit game, this was all Offence, this what is so good about the Bucks, they can match anything now, Defence or Offence, whichever it is there gonna throw it right back at ya!
Lake had a field day aswell as Marbury who recorded 13 assists to once again break the Bucks assist record.

Bucks took out the win 132-123.

Stephon Marbury again POG with 20pnts 13asts* 3rebs 8-15FG's 4-5 3's
Michael Redd 24pnts 7asts 3rebs 8-8FT's
Balthaser Lake 20pnts 13rebs(6 Off.) 3asts 10-14FG's
Robert Horry 13pnts 10rebs
Zach Randolph 13pnts 11rebs 4asts 6-8FG's

Lake Watch:
20pnts 13rebs(6 Off.) 3asts 1blk 10-14FG's

Game 4:

NY @ Mil

This one ws disgraceful, and i couldnt beleive i won it. This is becoming a new age NBA Rival, the Knicks and Bucks rivalry.
Anyway i was down 91-76 with about 4mins left, and all of a sudden, Redd who was shooting 2-9 from 3, hit 4 threes in a row!
i mean, he hit one, then went up defensive stop, Redd again 3, etc. etc.
it was unbeleiveable, i just kept running a high post screen and kept stepping back and poppin it!
it was a sight, Marbury also snatched another steal, and hit a three of his own, and each team had a sudden offensive burst.
Anyway scores were tiede at 101-101 and on the last play, Marbury gives it to Redd on the perimter, Redd gets the littlest bit of space..............and BAM!!
Another 3!

Bucks Win 104-101

Michael Redd 37pnts(17 in 4th) 5asts 3rebs 14-30FG's 7-14 3's(5-6 3's in 4th) and took the POG
Stephon Marbury 16pnts 7rebs 6stls 5asts 8-13FG's
Robert Horry 12pnts 4rebs
Balthaser Lake 8pnts 5rebs 4-8FG's
Zach Randolph had his worst game this season, 8pnts 10rebs 3-7FG's, never really got it going.

Lake Watch:
8pnts 5rebs 4-8FG's

Recent Transactions:

Bucks trade TJ Ford and Marcus Haislip for Jared Jeffries and Chris Whitney.

Another guy with an ending contract in Whitney, and Jeffries a young sf with talent and a personal fave of GM Laddas.
Ford wasnt gettin anytime, and Jones wasnt getting enough time coz of Ford, with Marbury, Ford had to go.
Same with Haislip, he also was finding no time with Horry in the lineup.

11-1

Great overview! Are you on a console system? Any possibility of getting some pics of Lake or the rest of the team up for us to enjoy? I'm keeping tabs on the Lake watch though!

Yer i loved the trade.
Like i said Ford wasnt gettin anything
So i had to trade him, i think i got Jared Jeffries, who if it wasnt for injuries he could be said to be one of the top bestp layers in the draft IMO.
hes got a good all-round game, he can shoot, pass, rebound and play a little D, in the game anyway :)
havent got around to any other games yet, hope to soon :)

Bucks Get Hammered at Home

There not much else to say about the demolition Job done by the Clippers.
They came into Milwaukee and were all over the Bucks, 121-89.
Nothing would go right for the Bucks, Marbury had 7TO's while shooting just 3-12.
Neither guy really played any D and it was just torture to watch.
Oh! There was one good thing, Michael Redd had 36pnts 4rebs 3asts 13-26FG's, but did not play any of the 4th quarter.

Michael Redd 36pnts 4rebs 3asts 13-26FG's
Zach Randolph 14pnts 10rebs 6-9FG's
Desmond Mason 11pnts 4-11FG's
Stephon Marbury 8pnts 4rebs 2asts 2stls 7TO's 3-12FG's

Lake Watch:
8pnts 8rebs 2asts 4-9FG's

Bucks get back in winning form with an emphatic 28 point victory!

The overacheiving 8-7 Jazz came into the Bradley Center, and had no answer for the now overpowering Bucks. Behind a game high 32pnts from Michael Redd the Jazz really could not get anything done right, even with Reigning 6th Man Desmond Mason hurting his leg early in the 3rd, and sitting out the rest of the way.

73-101 was the final score.
Redd has posted 37,36,32 now in the last 3 games.

Player fo the game was Michael Redd with 32pnts 5rebs 3asts 1stl 10-20FG's 3-7 3's
Stephon Marbury 18pnts 6rebs 6asts 7-12FG's
Balthaser Lake 12pnts 12rebs 4asts 5-8FG's
Zach Randolpg struggled shooting 5-16FG's but managed to post another double-double with 10pnts 15rebs.

Lake Watch:
12pnts 12rebs 4asts 1blk 5-8FG's 2-4FT's

Hey Laddas, great dynasty.

Sorry I haven't posted, I've been tied up with school work, my dynasty etc, but I always follow your thread mate, and it's top work. :D You and Andrew are just about the only original ones still going.. so good work!
Great to see you on the winning streak too, that trade really pulled you through, and like:
Andrew wrote:If Lake can pick up the slack on offense, it's not a bad trade.

Also, great wins against New York, Dallas, Detroit and the Hornets, your dynasty is by no means dead yet, and people are reading it.

I'll head over to 'Dynasty Central' and give you a TOP rating!! (Y)

Keep up the good work; Marbury and Redd together make a great backcourt combo! And later, head over to my dynasty.. see what you think!

Cheers, (B)

Hey, thanks mate (Y)
I wish i could just post more games though, the fact is i dont get a whole lot of time, but hey i continue to play for the fans :D

I enjoy my dynasty, and this is actually the first ever Live, that i've stayed with just the one team.

Im hoping that in the future livers, they bring in an option to continue a dynasty from a past Live, coz i dont think i'll ever get through 30 years(or is it 25??)

Good to see ya keeping with this Dynasty Laddas, i remember you had some good ones in Live 2003. Yours and Andrews are probably the most consistant Dynasty's so far, ive been following this from the start.

Anyway good to see Lake improving rapidly, and i hope D-Mase gets another 6th man title.

Good luck for the season.

Hey thanks mate, i never actually relised heaps of people followed it :D

Anyway...........

Bowens last second three Rims out as Bucks lose 98-100 At the Rose Garden

The Bucks second loss in the last 3 games was to the hands of Portland.
Derek Anderson and Rasheed Wallace were exceptional in the Blazers victory, and without them, the Bucks probably would of had a field day.
In the final seconds, scores 100-98 Blazers lead, and i ran a high pick and roll for Redd, he got a good look, but decided to penetrate to the hoop, which isnt a bad thing, but Sheed was there waiting, so he had to dish, therefore, Bowen took the final shot, and it was way off.
Lake actually grabbed the O.Board and made a nice tip, but was waved off.

"We had a stretch late in the 4th where we missed 4 shots on the one posession, I mean if guys like Balthaser and Zach are gonna make the effort to hit the Offensive Boards, then the other guys like Stephon,Michael and even Bruce have to knock down there J's, I think they shot a combined 15-49 for the night, thats just unacceptable from the perimeter guys" Said a very erratic Terry Porter.

"I feel were getting beaten in the post to much, Not on Offense but in Defence, now i know both our guys are young (Zach 23, Balthaser 19) but if they dont play D, im gonna have to seriously consider a trade, or even bringing back Dan in the 5, About the shooting, well i guess they cant shoot great every night, you just got a live by that and try score other ways" Said GM Laddas

Derek Anderson was POG with 26pnts 9asts 3rebs 5-9 3's
Rasheed Wallace had 28pnts 8rebs for the Blazers

Michael Redd lead the team with 18pnts 9rebs 4asts but shot 8-24FG's
Zach Randolph had 9 in the first quarter, but only finished wit h15pnts 11rebs 3asts 6-8FG's
Stephon Marbury had 14pnts 2rebs 2asts 4-16FG's
Jones and Mason each had 10 off the bench respectively

Lake Watch:
8pnts 9rebs 3asts 1blk 4-11FG's

Now, heres something im asking you guys, Zach Randolph has really been a let down so far this season.
His numbers are 15.6ppg 11.8rpg 0.7bpg 2.0apg .532%FG
Hes getting beaten all the time defensively, even though he has improved, it is still is mediocre.
I like the guy, but im considering moving him.
for what, i dont know.

He is averaging a double-double a game, but i was kinda hoping he'd be a 20/10 guy, which hes capable of, but he struggles to get shots off, he either has to dish out, or throws up some gunk, or gets blocked.
I do have a few thoughs of who t oget, maybe a package for some defense in Ben Wallace, but then we lose offense, Maybe a apackage for Jermaine O'Neal, but then we'll prolly be to good lol.
Amare Stoudemire is another or even Kenyon Martin.
I dont want to trade him, but im exploring options.

Yeah if hes not doing it for you its time to say good bye i guess.

K-Mart sounds good, because he would be quick in the post which would help on D, but Big Ben is always great fo D, but i dont really think its a fair trade in my books.

i wouldn't go JO youd find it hard to share the ball, but maybe someone like Brand could work.

And of course there is always Amare and he has played in a 3 pronged offense before (Stehpon(or johnson)/Marion/Amare).

Of course there is always the contracts issue.

The Bucks pickup a 19 point win on the road!

The Bucks went right to work tonight, and it didnt seem like the Warriors could do a whole lot.
Zach Randolph killed everyone downlow, Redd was connecting from the outside, Marbury was penetrating and Mason and Jones were too good off the bench.
The Bucks were in control all the way, and ran out 118-97 winners.

Zach Randolph had 27pnts 16rebs 1blk 1ast 10-17FG's POG
Michael Redd 21pnts 5rebs 4asts
Stephon Marbury 17pnts 6rebs 19mins 5FL's
Desmond Mason 17pnts 4asts 2rebs
Damon Jones 11pnts 6asts 3rebs 2blks 2stls 5-10FG's which was his best output this season.

Lake Watch:
6pnts 5rebs 4asts 25mins 2/7FG's

The Bucks maybe 2-2 in the last 4 now, but that doesnt seem to bother them.
So much confidence is around the Bucks camp at the moment.

"I feel were a championship caliber team this year, I mean we have inside players, outside players, penetrating players,We actually play decent Defence this year, something we were missing last year and we have hunger" Said Michael Redd (25.8ppg 4.0apg 3.8rpg)

"Well i guess Zach must read the news(Laughs) cause he played one heck of a game today. Definatley one of his best outputs all season long, and we should be saying more. Were trying to find the right plays for a guy like him, his got such great post moves, but stands at only 6'9. His skill level and potential are off the charts though and we think hes just starting to understand how to play his game on a more consistent basis, which is gonna be scary for any team" Said a smiling GM Laddas.

Michael Redd explodes for 52 in Bucks 4 point win over the Rockets!

Last game was the Randolph show, Tonight was the Redd show.
He went off for a season high 52pnts (7 short of his and the Bucks career high 59) on 18/27 shooting and 3/7 from downtown.
He was feeling all throughout the game, and in the crunch he looked even better.
After great ball movement through the offence, Redd got open and drained a long range three with 44secs left to give us a 2 point lead.
After forcing the Rockets to a quick bad three, Redd got clear on a great screen set by Randolph, and drained the shot and...................was fouled!
He drained the free throw and converted the 3 point play.

In the end the Bucks took the win 107-103.

"The main focus was to keep going to Randolph again, but i guess he was struggling on Eddie Griffin and Yao Ming, So i decided to step it up a notch, and looks for the right shots to take." Said Michael Redd

Stats:
Michael Redd 52pnts 5rebs 3asts 2stls 18/27FG's 3/7 3Pnt's 12/12FT's POG
Stephon Marbury 12pnts 8asts 5rebs 5/18FG's 1/7 3Pnt's
Belthaser Lake 10pnts 14rebs 4asts 2stls 2blks 5/11FG's 28mins

Zach Randolph struggled with 7pnts 9rebs 2/13FG's 30mins

Lake Watch:
10pnts 14rebs 4asts 2stls 2blks 5/11FG's 28mins.

Game 3:

Bucks escape Washington with a 6 point win!

This was a lucky game for us.
Michael Redd never really got into a flow, as he had 2 fouls in the first 3 minutes. He went on to his worst performance for the Bucks.
We were down by about 24 midway through the 3rd, but a late 15-0 run to end the 3rd got us right back in it.
Stehpon Marbury took over the game, as he went on for his best scoring game since becoming a Buck.
In the final seconds, we were up 101-100, and Redd had daylight, and despite his struggles he drained a 3. No matter how bad he shoots/plays throughout the game, i can always count on him in the clutch.

Final Score: 106-100 Bucks Win
