Just played the 1st half of the season opener. Lebron's 5-20 from the fiekd, That's righ 5 of 20. he still was able to almost record a double double w/ 12 points & 7 assists. Celtics lead 54-52. Raef LaFrentz Has 10 points & 7 boards. Will have a full game summary up 2morrow.

LeBron's NBA Debut Was A Horrible shooting outage, but a late run by the Cavs seals the deal & The Prince gets his 1st triple double


Drafted 1st overall by the Cleveland Cavs in the recent 03' draft LeBron James had a tough act to beat after Dwayne Wade scoredf 38 points & grabbed boards in a 91-96 loss to the Celtics. But now, The C's would have to face Lebron on his home court. Before the game Lebron said "D-Wade gave me a tough act to follow, but I'm still gonna go out & try to top it". And boy, did he. At 1st it seemed like LeBron's 1st game would be a complete disaster. Even with at one point, LeBronm shooting just 5-20 from the field, the game was pretty back & forth. Coach Silas took LeBron out at the begining of the 3rd & The King didn't check back in until mid-4th quarter.

The Cavs were down by 12,& Lebron came in with a determined look in his eye.He then took over the game's scoring load. He hit 8 shots in just about 7 minutes, but the Cavs were only up by 2 with a minute remamning. On the next play King James would draw 2 defender's, leaving teamate Jack Mcinnis, who had carried the Cavs for most of the night, wide open. Instead of trying to play hero Lebron's past out of the shot & Mcinnis got a top of the key jumper to roll down. Eric Williams then sealed the deal on a breakaway steal.

LeBron then said postgame " I'm really not proud of what I did. I mean sure I had a triple-double, that's great, but my shooting was horrible for 3 & a half quarters. I need to work on my shot a lot more". Even with a bad outing LeBron was still named Cav of The Game.
