In a shocking development, the Porltand Trail Blazers have announced that general manager Rich Cho is no longer with the team. Here's the text from the team announcing the news...
The Portland Trail Blazers have parted ways with General Manager Rich Cho. Director of College Scouting CHad Buchanan has been named acting General Manager.

that was odd. they brought him in after firing pritchard who was in a similar spot as the proverbial "golden boy" in the front office. must've been his suggestion to suspend Roy just before his monster game vs Dallas

They fire KP for extending Roy, then they fire Cho for wanting to suspend him. SMH Erden

Why didn't they let him run the draft first? (But after telling him he was fired.) I thought that was SOP.

Bizarre turn of events. The Blazers had a pretty good season despite all their injuries, clearly he didn't have the support of other brass as far as suspending Roy but he didn't really make any missteps in the job and made a great deal to get Gerald Wallace. Seems there was a fallout behind the scenes nevertheless.

Seattle source confirms #pdxtrailblazers are at least interested in "talking" w former GM Kevin Pritchard.
