K-Mart durability is a problem, gonna use some development drills for him. As for Tony Allen, he's my favorite Celtic, sad they didn't give him another contract. He's a pesky defender and he'll check the surefire scorers in every opponent team. Gonna play games in the first week and post it maybe tomorrow. :)

KidJustin, Maybe your right but Bass is injured for at least 4 months I think so K-Mart is badly needed. Anderson is too soft and not that defensive-minded, but I love his range (Y)

:facepalm2: You traded J-Rich. :shake:

At least the Bobcats look good this year. They signed Afflalo, got the 3rd pick in the draft, and got Kanter! :D

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Orlando's 22 turnovers in the game pretty much cost them the loss. They wasted 22 possessions and eventually lose their first
game of their season against the San Antonio Spurs, 119-102.

Argentinian Manu Ginobili scored 19 points in the first half where he just missed one shot attempt and finished the night with a team-high 28 points.
He also had six assists and three steals. Ginobili cooled off in the remaining half though, where he turned the ball six times. Spurs pulled away from the
Magic where they outscored them 35-22. Six players including Ginobili reached double figures for them. Role players like George Hill and James Anderson
enjoyed the last seven minutes of the fourth quarter when Greg Popovich decided to rest his starters. Hill and Anderson scored 17 and 14 respectively.
Tim Duncan finished with a double-double, 14 points and 13 boards.

With the Magic lacking a true scorer pretty much relied to Dwight Howard throughout the game, Howard had a great opening performance, 26 points,
10 rebounds, four assists and three swats. Hedo Turkoglu added 17 points and nine boards, while rookie Jordan Hamilton who's looking promising
on his first game came off the bench with 16 points. New acquisition Tony Allen showed his defensive arsenal, grabbing five rebounds, made three steals
          and six assists.

Spurs won the rebounding battle where they grabbed eight more boards than the Magic did, 54-46. They also performed well shooting the three, they made
15 threes out of 26 attempts.

BOSTON (AP) — With just 5.6 seconds remaining, Hedo Turkoglu threw a desperation fadeaway jumper but the ball bounce off the rim, by then an ex-Celtic
flew over three players and made an emphatic putback, and-one dunk to help the Magic beat the Celtics, 95-92.

Tony Allen just made eight points in the game but he turned out to be the hero of the game where he made the free-throw after the dunk to extend the Magic's
lead to three. Dwight Howard scored 24 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked three shots to led the Magic. Ryan Anderson contributed 17 points
off the bench and been deadly from three where he made 3-of-4. Gilbert Arenas save Jameer Nelson's slumping night where he had 15 points in just 17 minutes.

The two teams were battling throughout the game and exchanging lead after lead. Kevin Garnett led the Celtics by his 18 points but his game-winning shot
attempt wasway off mark, he also had six rebounds. Jeff Green and Paul Pierce each scored 17 while Ray Allen 14 points for the Celtics who lose now their
          second consecutive game.

Magic's bench outperformed the Celtics where they got 47 points from the reserves, Celtics' bench mob made 38. The home team showed more aggressive than
the Magic though where they forced themselves to go to the line 29 times, Magic only attempted 12 free throws.

Mavs4Life, Thanks man, it's really hard to handle Manu :x

Thierry •, Thanks, will still add some features on the upcoming weeks.

Valdis, They are still old as hell  Crawford didn't performed well enough against us.

maksie, Tony Allen ftw! :D

Axel., Thanks man. That dunk is really the gamesaver for me, glad Allen did it. That pic is wonderful, it caught the lights too. :)

I'm pissed on how to use Nelson. Can't even score him with 10 points

Nice Recap style, like always (Y)

Maby trade for somebody with a sweet jumper, you have Howard dominating the paint, two paint-dominators aint bad but somebody with a nice shot could be great use IMO.

If not, Ibaka would be pretty nice. Or Gibson?

Howard's monster game powers Magic to a win over Heat

Image
Image

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Orlando Magic is back on their home to face the defending champions Miami Heat. And it was really a magic opening as they
witnessed a great performance by their star Dwight Howard.

Howard scored 44 points, on a 19-of-26 shooting, grabbed nine rebounds and had three blocks to overcome LeBron James and Dwyane Wade's
performance to give the Heat their first loss of the season. There were also help arrived from his teammates like Jameer Nelson who had 23 points,
nine assists and seven rebounds, Hedo Turkoglu had also a great night with his 20 points to go along with six rebounds and seven assists.

Heat weren't able to pick up the slack and can't find answers to Howard. Great efforts from James and Wade was wasted as they were abused in the
paint and outscored by the Magic, 60-42. James had a team-high 32 points and 11 rebounds while Wade added 31 of his own. Another member of
the trio Chris Bosh was quiet throughout the game and only scored 12 points.

Despite an off-night from Rose, Bulls able to beat Magic

Image
Image

CHICAGO (AP) — Yes Derrick Rose was only held to nine points but the Bulls is now not a one-man team this season. Free-agent acquisition Marcus
          Thornton
led the Bulls with his 20 points despite a poor 8-of-21 shooting, Carlos Boozer had a big double-doulbe, 18 points and 13 boards while
Luol Deng added 15 apiece to save Rose's nightmare game and grab a win against the Magic.

Rose was held scoreless after the first half where he made nine points, he also had 10 assists in the outing. But the Bulls pretty much enjoyed the
turnover fest by the Magic where they committed 15. They were also beaten in the battle of the boards, 51-42. Bulls had their best five minutes of
the game in fourth quarter where they made 5 out of their 6 field goal attempts to pull away from the opponent.

Dwight Howard put up a double-double of 28 points, 14 rebounds and also made seven blocks, Jameer Nelson scored 19 points for the Magic who's
currently slumping on their scoring options. Gilbert Arenas added 13 off the bench.
