Now I see what you meant Lean about the technical issues with The Witcher 2... Everything was fine until last night, where the "save" feature disappeared all of sudden, and I ended up losing over an hour of play time. And today, none of my saves have any voices or ambient sound! It's apparently a common issue with 5.1 systems after patch 1.1, but it's still pretty fucked up. A new patch is coming tomorrow, so I'm hoping it'll fix those two issues.

They don't have support for 5.1 sound and 4:3 monitors. I hope they get that fixed. It's really hard to read on my monitor.

The Kayran I'm assuming? I'm getting close to that fight myself, just taking care of a few side quests in preparation. I managed to solve my previous sound issue, but it kinda seems to come and go... Still, great game so far.

Yes the Kayran. Got the Mongoose, Swallow and Lapwing going on but I just love how this boss fight is unpredictable.

Just sat down to get the "On a Rail" Achievement in Minecraft. Essentially you travel 1000 blocks on rails in a minecrart.....got it, but it wasn't worth the time....

Also, NBA Live 09 on the PS2....I am wicked pissed we didnt get a port to the PC. Ball (barely) ghosts through players causing more deflections and it bounces off players not trying to catch it after blocks/dunks. Legit (like 2K11) off the glass alleyoops, havent converted one yet though. More playcalling and celebration animations while moving. Widescreen support (progressive scan). It's pretty BA.

The reason I even booted it up for the first time since I got it was I found a hard drive at my parents house that is compatible with the PS2. I needed a game to test it on but now I can load custom games off that instead of doing the swap disc method. I might actually try to mod Live 09 and the Street games on the PS2 now instead of trying to get the PCSX emulator working. (I'm excited )

I gave up on that. Even with all those items, I would end up dying right before the Kayran did, so I ended up using a god mode just for that fight...

yeah my second was dead nation. infamous didn't seem too appealing to me, and the dead nation trailer was interesting so i gave it a shot. i might try it today. anyone ever play Alien Breed on PC back in the day? thats what dead nation reminds me of
