NBA Live 08 Question

I just wanna ask something if the original nba live 08 has an intro video clip..I mean does it shows up?...Mine's not showing up...after the main intro which the EA sports intro..it skips the next video..after the bootup logos....it goes directly to menu...what seems to be the problem. Movies are fine but the intro after the ea sports intro doesn't show up.

I think you are talking about the intro.vp6 file.
But to answer your question,I believe there is no video.

ahhhhh...but in the newly installed nba live 08 i found an intro.vp6 file in the movies folder. Is this video working?

The default into.vp6 has no video in it.So if you do a fresh install then the default will be there.

oooohhh..thanks a lot man..ahmmm..I downloaded another intro.vp6 from one of the users in this forum. and put it in movies folder....i tried to reload the game but it's still not showing up...what file is missing man?....i think this is gonna be the last question...sorry man..

If you put the new intro.vp6 in the movies folder and nothing shows up,then something might be wrong with the new intro.vp6.

movies/english file is for eabrand....it's not what i meant man...what i meant is that the video after the EAbrand and before the game menu appears.

I learned that the intro.vp6 of live 08 is the nba live 07 and that the screen of arenas is the cause of the movie not showing up.

@Sir Jhiane: the same thing happen sir....i installed a fresh nba live 08 game and i found it out that it has no intro.vp6...so i tried to change intro.vp6 with a new one from tup but the same thing happened..no intro movie before the menu loads.......the nba live 08 i installed before has an intro.vp6 and it works when i patched it up with tup11. When I reinstalled the game, no tup is added, and all i wanted is to have the intro.vp6 at this moment. I did every possible thing but it didn't work.

First, I changed the intro.vp6 with a new one from tup and it didn't work.

Second, I noticed the tup 11 patch's introf.vp6 is a bit different from the original one in terms of size so i changed it with that and still it didn't work.

now, I don't have any other way...but i'm still workin on it..^^..Any help is appreciated guys and will be appreciated...thanks so much guys..

Well in other words change your arts and the intro should show up

ahmmm,,,i think sir...the art has nothing to do with intro....i think i just miss some files..not the art..thanks for the reply sir...

for better results, you can download the TUP11 patch. there are three intro.vp6 files there.

Well pegasus is right art files do affect it. try removing the start-up screen (Gilbert Arenas) to TUP or any art you willl see it.

It's not working....i have already tup patch before and it worked....i just try to be simple(no patch) at the moment until tup 12 comes.......i have already tried this the tup11's intros...still not workin....thanks anyways.

i think removing the start-up screen is not a good idea.....tup11 has it's start-up screen which has Kevin Durant in and the intro is working,...so removing the start-up screen(Gilbert Arenas) doesn't make sense at all.
