It's a very physical game at both ends of the court, yet the Heat currently have 17 free throw attempts compared to just six by the Bulls, 12 fouls called on the Bulls compared to eight on the Heat. More than a couple of sketchy calls so far.
Bulls squandered that early lead though, their defense hasn't look as sharp in the second quarter, they're taking some bad shots and once again missing easy ones around the hoop. You're not going to win playing like that.
Wow! A couple of awesome dunks by Rose there, second one brought me out of my seat. Good to see him not settling for the outside shot as they're not going down. He got clobbered on the next play though, should've been a foul...especially considering what they've been giving up at the other end. Strong finish to the quarter for the Bulls but if Wade and LeBron it going, they're in trouble.
It was actually a reasonably generous continuation for Rose when he was fouled by Chalmers but not an uncommon call in the NBA as Steve Kerr noted. A comment on the video calls it the worst continuation in NBA history but it's not even close, it's standard call until they tighten up the rules and pretty much everyone benefits from it from time to time.
Good start for the Bulls in the third, long way to go though.
Not a good final play for the Bulls. This is an amazing game! Is it just me or is there a Bulls fan really close to the cameras saying "Let's go bulls" and screaming "noooooooo"? EDIT: LOL The guy is absolutely hilarious! He's going crazy!
