we don't watch the NBA to hear about your religious convictions. When a reporter puts a microphone in front of you, it's not a free forum for you to share your love of Jesus, each and every time!!! STFU already and just answer the reporters questions!!

Haha, you should see my last post in the Grizz/Thunder thread.

Ah. It is awesome how we Christians get discriminated against by people who follow the religion of atheism! They always prove Jesus and the Bible right! BAHAHAHHAHA

It's awesome how idiots like you assume that just because we don't want to hear about your religious convictions means we are athiests.
Thank you for proving my point.

Here is what I am talking about Lamrock
Matthew 5:10-12 (King James Version)
10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 5:44 (King James Version)
44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Luke 21:12
But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Revelation 12:13
And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

While I don't consider myself much of a religious person (but I'm not atheist either), I agree that you shouldn't force your religious beliefs on public TV, keep it to yourself, do your prayers on your own time. I've never quite understood why people depend on God or thank God for winning a game. Wasn't the game won by you and your teammates playing to the best of your ability? It's not like God tips the ball in for you on a bad bounce.

If you are not an athiest, what religion are you? Muslim? Buddhist? Satanist?

Acts 5:27-29 (King James Version)
27And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
28Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
29Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

I don't feel compelled to answer your question in the slightest, so I'm not going to. It's none of your business.
Nice attempt at trolling with the Bible verses. I scrolled past all of them.

lol dude shutup plz.

Spewing out Bible verses to defend your argument against a bunch of 'atheists' will certainly work considering they don't believe in the Bible.

I'm talking in general here folks and not singling out any godless heathens.
You unclean ones are unworthy of Billy Mays' cleansing words and presence, even if you buy
Oxiclean it still won't make your whites whiter or your brights brighter.
Mon May 16, 2011 10:04 am
And spewing out hatred towards Christians following their beliefs concerning spreading the gospel will not help an atheists case! (I have yet to meet a single atheist that did not hate certain groups of people. Christians or otherwise.)
Mon May 16, 2011 10:12 am
So you can't look past the hate without spewing Bible verses to get your point across to the nonbelievers?
So what Durant did only confirms another possibility. That Dwight Howard will join his Christian brother Kevin Durant in OKC. If Sam Presti starts unloading contracts to create cap space for Howard, remember, you read it in this thread first.

That'd be the only useful thing in this thread.

Lulz. Anyone who actually knows me from posting here knows I'm very socially aware. I love this "playing the victim" card! Christians are totally the most discriminated against group, EVER!
Please keep making me laugh. I'm not even stoned!!!!!

What about the irreligious?
Mon May 16, 2011 12:07 pm
Playing the victim would mean saying "woe is me. I am being persecuted."
Rather what we say is "yay! we are being discriminated against! We get an reward in heaven! WOOT WOOT!"

Everyone has a religion.

What's my religion then?
(1) : the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2) : commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
I do and have neither of these.
Mon May 16, 2011 12:23 pm
Wow! So people can attack somebodys faith and when someone tries to show why attacking that faith is rather silly the person trying to show what they believe is called a preacher and told to stop? hypocrites!
couple that with a thread on how Naismith created basketball as a missionary tool getting locked and I am now getting mad!
