EA Handball

I dunno about anyone else here... but who likes Handball?

Handball would be a great conversion for EA.. firstly because it's a mix of soccer and basketball and most of the graphics are done, or are very easy to design.

I was wondering if anyone here could submit the idea to EA, or help me produce a game engine for Handball.

It would be great.

i dont think ea would wana make this as there are no poplar leagues to license that would ensure their success like the NBA or some big soccer leagues that i dont know of .

perhaps national team comps, or champion leagues would do..? handball sure is fun to watch sometimes... very much a contact sport.

Cool idea. It would be a nice game.
Imagine it with the player-animations of Live, and the franshise of Madden

And I agree; It is fun to watch sometimes... It get's very exciting...

I played handball...... IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. LOL..

Is it possible to mix and match animations of players from one game to another?

For example, making a basketball player throw a pitch as in baseball?

Player Animations needed:

From NBA Live:

1. Dribbling of smaller ball (reduced size soccer ball, size 5)
2. Jumping of players for handball jumping shot.
3. Blocking/Screening/Jumping animations.

MVP Baseball:

1. Pitchers throw for the penalty shooting.

FIFA Soccer:

1. Goalposts to be reduced slightly.
2. Upright Physical contact
3. Goal celebrations
4. League system and season formats.

If we combine these animations, the players will be quite good i think.

What can be done:

The Easy stuff..

1. Feart can be changed very easily.
2. Rosters can be altered easily.
3. Team's/Player's Graphics can be done easily.
4. Music editing can be done easily.

What needs to be done:

The Hard stuff..

1. New Game Engine for Handball.
2. Court edited to Handball court dimensions.
3. Changing Season to Soccer format.

Would this be possible if we all put our heads together?

I played handball in elementry school..

In the pros, do they do the same thing? Basically hit the ball so it hits the ground then the board and back? There's actually people that really specialize in that? I kind of wish one of the pros went to a playground and showed the little kids how to play.

I play handball, it's fun. I'm the goalkeeper of my team. We're going to Kiel in Germany next week to play a tournament. I have also played one game for the school team. It's kinda like soccer for me as a goalie but for the field players i think it more like basketball with a small soccergoal, a handball and very much contact.
