Somebody outlines the direct facts and suddenly they're getting reported.

Chalk this up as yet another forum that hates Kobe Bryant instead of respecting the fact he is the greatest player of all time.

Umm, hello, Michael Jordan anybody? Sorry, but he is not the best. Still not the best. Anyways, let's don't get off topic. Mavs showed some skills and Lakers are just too old now, they need some new blood.

About those elbows and everything.. Yeah, Bynum has good thug skills. :)

Benji you need to get your duck out of the water and dry off before a snapping turtle eats it.

That foul by Bynum was sickening. I would say the same thing if Haywood did the same thing to Steve Blake!

Yeah you can't stop that. When a team is on fire like that, closing out on them isn't going to change anything.

Jason Terry and Peja Stojakovic scored 15 of them. Jason Terry 9-10 3P%, Peja 6-6 3P%.

Agreed. he's saying the Mavs are disrespectful. The Lakers have had some thug moves in the Kobe era aswell. They're a good team, but it's time for a new era of NBA stars. I'm not saying the Mavs, but anyone.

Yeah that Jordan guy was pretty damn amazing. A lot of people do seem to forget about him these days. The man who was sure to get a ring each time he made it to the finals.

Last time I checked, Kobe didn't have Pippen by his side to win the rings. Case closed.

But he's had Gasol & Shaq. And when they were good, they were GOOD.

Jordan did have Pippen. But Kobe did have Shaq for those first three rings. Come on let's be real Pippen is a great player but Jordan never had a player that averaged around 27-29 ppg those years he won the nba title. Kobe even had the sharp shooter Glen Rice on his first Nba title. Sounds like an all-star team to me. Second to Jordan... yes but greater...ehhh.

Not sure if Bynum's foul was even that hard, I mean all it did is almost crush Barea's ribs.

It's obvious it was on purpose, I mean if he was at least looking toward the ball and then elbowed him, it wouldn't be that obvious, but he was looking straight ahead and just nailed him.

Only way I could honor Kobe. :(
A lockout is just an excuse by the league and players union to avoid the wrath of Kobe Bryant who's on a mission to reclaim his throne.

Most of those assists were in the first three quarters. He took over in the fourth when we were down. Those 6 turnovers balanced the assists out. I could have gotten him 50 pts. but I was only playing with 10 min. quarters. It's hard to play a game when you're sad. Now I understand how Pau feels. :(

Lakers C Bynum suspended 5 games for Barea foul

Lakers center Andrew Bynum has been suspended for five games next season for his flagrant foul on Dallas guard J.J. Barea in Los Angeles’ final playoff game.

The NBA announced the suspension Tuesday, two days after Bynum was ejected for the foul late in the two-time defending champions’ 36-point loss to the Mavericks in Game 4. The league also fined Bynum $25,000 for ripping off his jersey while heading to the locker room, which means the suspension will cost Bynum more than $700,000.

Bynum expressed contrition for the episode after his exit interview at the Lakers’ training complex earlier Tuesday, saying the foul was “terrible” and “unacceptable.”

No surprise there.
