:shake: Slowly I get tired of WWE. At least give him a run.

the " :shake: " before Lean's spoilers and Q talking about Friday, I immediately figured it had to do with Christian losing the belt on Smackdown.

Fuck you WWE.

At LEAST give it to Del Rio.

Orton and Cena are just way too dominant as faces

Seems they wanted to go for the "moment" with Christian before reverting to the same old, same old. Admittedly Orton's a proven draw but you don't create new draws and keep things fresh without giving some different guys a chance. The way they're booking Orton is just as bad as the way they book Cena, perhaps even worse considering how he just flat out dominated his feud with CM Punk and the New Nexus.

I wouldn't mind if every RAW began that way, with Cole getting his ass kicked and taken out for the evening so JR took over announcing duties. Short of a permanent change, it's my favourite solution.

The belts are just props now.

Just a few months ago I am liking Orton, now he is just another SuperCena clone which sucks

he was better as a super heel but his similarities to stone cold have made him a viable babyface

The one thing I don't like about the super thing is the limited moveset. They have like 5 moves then they set for a finisher.

Orton works a little better as a dominant face because his character has an edge but they're overdoing it all the same. In all fairness it's not that different to what they did with Stone Cold back in the Attitude Era but he had some great heels to work with, notably Vince himself.

you can make that 7 for Randy since he started using the Thez Press and Angle Slam

Five Moves of Doom isn't anything new in wrestling and even the all-time great workers tend to favour a few signature moves amidst punches, kicks and basic slams, suplexes and takedown moves. It doesn't mean said worker can't have a great match if it's well plotted; the way they're being booked is obviously a huge factor as well and that's the big problem with Cena and Orton. Giving them a rest as champions or even as frequent contenders in the title scene and having them lose a little more often would be ideal, but doesn't seem like that's happening anytime soon.

Still better than the booking that saw Dolph Ziggler's reign, I guess.

I remember Bret's 5 moves of doom, although he had more variations on it, as opposed to Cena and Orton who the same sequence every single time. with a submission maneuver as his finisher, he had the option of ending a winning match with a sharpshooter or with a pin/roll up. i mean, the fact that cena & orton do the same things every single time in the same order annoys me because their opponent should theoretically know what's coming next so he shouldn't fall for it but they do every time.

Besides, if we really think about it then Orton's RKO should be countered about nine times out of ten.

true, but he's becoming like ddp and finding new ways to get it which is nice. the one off evan bourne's finisher was really cool, but then this week on raw, it was predictable that he'd get it when cm punk jumped off the top rope.

the one in the video was a good one. that is how I like the RKO, countering "high flying moves", I don't care for the random standing one. Hell it'd be awesome if he RKO'd Cena when he would do those flying shoulders.
Opinions are my own.

Any move would be awesome if it's Cena that's in the receiving end.

the standing "regular" one seems really weak and makes me wonder how someone is supposed to be legitimately out long enough to be pinned for 3 seconds. what happened to all the high-impact finishers?? seems like all the young guys are using lame twisty moves that don't look like they hurt like Cody Rhodes's move. Dolph Ziggler's move is one of the weakest finishers ever.

Good read. I'd heard the first four stories before but the one from the 50s was definitely kayfabe to the extreme.
