Professional Wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc)

the only good match was the ladder match, which seems to be the only "extreme" match left in the PG era. Christian looked like he got in a fight with a bear by the end of the match. Broadus Clay got busted open (the hard way) in a major fashion after he caught the tiny ladder (which i still find funny) to the face. you can see a big pool of blood when ADR goes over into Ricardo & Broadus. i seemed to have missed the part where the refs stop the bleeding on Christian's side when he hits the corner of the steps.

Rematch for the WWE title on RAW tonight. Hopefully they don't put the belt back on Miz so soon, 24 hour reigns aren't the way to go for any belts but least of all the major titles.

For the first time I cheer Michael Cole for wearing a Boston Celtics Jersey ^_^

Could be.

That said, did that even air? It wasn't mentioned in the live spoilers I read, and that's clearly footage from a fan in the arena rather than a WWE camera.

Still better than WCW's "International Object" rather than the standard "Foreign Object".

Whose idea was that? They need to be handed a dictionary and learn the other meanings of the word 'foreign'.

It's funny that Cole is wearing a Celtics jersey, Rocky and the rest of Miami owned my favorite NBA team in a wwe show.

coming up on TNA *Bully Ray and Gunner took on AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. Tommy Dreamer hit the ring to save Styles from Bully, only to turn on him and nail him with a piledriver. Yes, they turned Dreamer heel.

great, now there's gonna be 11 months of meaningless matches for the title as it will most likely stay on superman until wrestlemania, where the only logical thing to do is to put cena over rock unless rock is making a regular return to the ring which is never happening

kind of a weak raw tonight, they tried to use rock's star power to get people to watch. loved the closeup of morrison not taking the bump on the ramp from truth's move. also kong is awesome, but i wish she'd use the double underhook sit down powerbomb she used in tna. that was a pretty cool move.

gonna check out tough enough now, although it's sad that my eye candy is gone. i was hoping miss usa rima would last longer.

Guess the PG approach is in effect whether the cameras are rolling or not.

The directive originally came from Turner, so their hand was forced by network censorship. However, as you noted they clearly got their synonyms wrong; I'm not sure whose bright idea it was to substitute "international" when "illegal" was what they were going for. Maybe they thought it was clever or amusing, but more someone was just very stupid.

I hate how random it is when and who can reverse referee's dicisions. There were enough storylines where even the GM was powerless to reverse the referee's decisions.

I mean technically referees could always watch the match replay after somebody wins by illegal measures and reverse it, no?

So Kurt Angle has a mistress helping him mess with his ex-wife and Double J, next week it will revealed that it is Chyna. Spending money wisely I see.

Well I still remember the feud between her and JJ back in the day so it's def going to be good TV (hopefully). But the whole Kurt/JJ story has been dragged on enough IMO, I was hoping they'd end it.

yeah i think that storyline hits too close to home for kurt. a lot of times it seems like they just got a bunch of monkeys writing the script in the back. i think that's what's keeping them from becoming bigger is they just seem very low budget. even though the writing/booking for wwe isn't that much better, their production is top-notch and they know how to promote themselves.

That was the original report and could still be the case, but apparently plans may have changed. Considering how much of a trainwreck she's become, it'd be yet another baffling move by TNA.
