You save the pictues of the shoes. Then you import them with the help of an editor such as EAGraph into a shoe .fsh file.
EAGraph can be downloaded in the NLSC database....

The .fsh files should be put in the players folder. The player you wan't wearing the shoes.
You should go to the folder /NBA Live 2004/render/ and then create a folder named xplayer. The go in there and create a new folder. That folder should be named after the player's ID.
The player ID consist of a players first two letters in his first name, and the five first in his last name.
Kobe Bryant get's KOBRYAN. Players with less than five letters in their last name will get an underline instead to fill up space (_). Jason Kidd , gets JAKIDD_
