Windows 7 Weird Problems

I've got nba live 2000,03 and 04 on my windows 7
since installing them i've noticed in my task manager that explorer.exe has multiple instances
meaning that if i open explorer.exe it shows up in task manager but when i close it it's still showing in the task manager
is anyone else getting this problem cause it's really bugging me

Are the multiple processes slowing your computer down significantly? If not, then ignore it.
