EA Official Patch

hey yall i had the problem with the game crashing with customart on, so i downloaded the official patch from the site. 4 Some reason when it tries to install, it tells me that a file is missing but there is another file of the same name, but can't conitnue installing.......

anyone know wat the problem-o is???

There are two possible problems;
1. You installed the unofficial patch by EA that was leaked from their server. And didn't restore it before installing the new one. And
2. You got an illegal copy of the game...

how do you turn custom art on?

Go to "\NBA Live 2004\main\cscripts\" and open the file caled 'xstartup.cfg' with a text editor such as Notepad.
On the bottom, there's a line that sais customart 0. Replace the 0 with a 1 instead. That's all...

Ask one of the makers of the patch/mod for help (Y)
