Just checking the latest responses to the Wishlist Survey I posted a couple of days ago, specifically the write-in comments for "What other important features and improvements would encourage you to buy NBA ELITE 12?" and found this among them:

The thought did cross my mind. Kinda sad if that's the case but oh well. Like I said, the rest of the survey was filled in so that was considerate.

To be honest I'm pleasantly surprised that apart from that childishness, there are some thoughtful write-in suggestions in there instead of the usual "Fuck EA!" and the like that one might expect...though there are a few along the lines of "Make the game better", a sentiment I can agree with but I'd imagine isn't too helpful for the Dev Team.

I guess that's possible, assuming it's not some disgruntled banned member taking a shot. Thought it was worth a laugh in any event.

Mind you, some people have weird ideas about how far my influence reaches as I've received angry emails demanding that I do something about the officiating in the real NBA...either that or they can't find any appropriate channels to vent their frustration so somehow I've become the next best thing. I haven't been successful in encouraging the Dev Team to bring back the traditional reorder roster menu in Dynasty Mode these past few years, so my chances of improving officiating in the NBA don't seem all that good.

Along those lines, this one came in today:

The weird thing is, the rest of the survey was filled out fairly meticulously and constructively. To me, that suggests they don't have faith in EA Sports to do anything with the feedback we're going to send in or ever again make a basketball game worth playing (hence the snarky remark in the write-in section), yet they still went to the trouble of filling out the rest of the survey properly and indicating things that would encourage them to buy NBA Elite 12. Considerate I suppose since I can use the responses to the questions if not the remarks, but it's kind of funny as they've basically said "EA sucks, they should just give up making basketball games. Now here's what they have to do to make the game better and encourage me to buy it".
