Laws also said that disability sports were "ludicrous".
International Paralympic Committee president Sir Philip Craven told TV ONE's Close Up that he did not take the comments personally.
"I really feel sorry for this guy," the former paralympian said. "But from what I've heard about him, I think he's a lost cause
