Washington (AP) - The Washington Wizards started of December with blowing a lead to the Atlanta Hawks, this time around the Wizards didn't blow their lead and came away with a hard fought victory.
Why they lost: The Bulls went on a 15-2 run for 3:44 with 15.4 seconds left in the first quarter giving them a 28-24 lead, the Bulls behind Derrick Rose's 30 points and 9 assists couldn't do anything more as the team struggled to shoot 37% of their 78 field goals. They also recorded almost as twice assists and recorded 12 less rebounds.
Why they won: The Wizards recorded 24 more points dude to the fact that they shot exactly 50% from the field goals, the Wizards also had 14 more assists and recorded 12 more points in the paint, Andray Blatche recorded 29 points and 14 assists and John Wall recorded 20 points and 17 assists in the blowout, the Wizards looked great against the Bulls, who have been struggling of late.

You accidentally used the Atlanta box score, and you spelled "bulls" as "bills"

Washington (AP) - After blowing out the Chicago Bulls at home, the Wizards tried to pull off another upset, this time against a powerhouse in the Denver Nuggets... Carmelo Anthony had other ideas.
Why they lost: The Wizards turned the ball over too many times, the Nuggets recorded 19 steals to Wizards' 9. Their best player John Wall didn't play that great, he recorded just 9 points and played just 16 minutes, although he went 3 of 5 on field goals and 7 assists, his impact wasn't big enough. When a backup like Al Thornton leads you in scoring for the game, you know something wasn't right on offense.
Why they won: The Nuggets did everything right that they needed to, Carmelo Anthony had a big game recording 34 points and 8 boards, Afflalo recorded 6 steals and Chauncey Billups recorded 16 points, 11 asissts and 4 steals, they overall played much better and came away with a 18 point win.

Washington (AP) - The Wizards are going on a ill funk which they started the season on, no game is easy right now and the Wizards are finding it hard to start collecting wins.
Why they lost: The Wizards were just off tonight, there was nothing much to say, John Wall was a non-factor and the Knicks did a good job and defending the Wizards from attacking in their best ways, long story short: The Knicks forced Washington to play New York ball early on and the Wizards just couldn't get any momentum.
Why they won: Apart from New York playing well, it was the Wizards sloppy turnover prone play that costed them a win, the Knicks shot great recording a 52% field goal rate while the Wizards settled for 41%.

Washington (AP) — The Washington Wizards finally managed to beat a pretty good team this season, although the Hornets now have a losing record it was an off game for them, big games from John Wall, Rashard Lewis and Nick Young saw the Wizards take the win.
Why they lost: The Hornets shot just too bad, they shot 13% less than the Wizards and had the same exact field goal attempts, they were also 10% less on three pointers, although they did record a 14% better ratio when it came to recording free throws, it was the field goals that hurt them because the Wizards were too accurate on the night.
Why they won: The Wizards finally shot well, converting 53% of their 79 field goals, they also recorded 7 blocks to the Hornets 1 and came away with 10 more bench points with 27.

Washington (AP) — The Wizards were looking to not get swept by the Miami Heat and for the first half they looked like they were going to execute the upset successfully, but in the fourth quarter, Lebron James and the Miami Heat had other ideas.
Why they lost: The Wizards did everything right, they went 5-0 to start the game, forced Lebron James into bad shots early (went 4 of 13 to start) and played very sound basketball, especially John Wall who almost recorded 30 points in this matchup of division rivals, they fumbled in the fourth and folded for the Heat to come in and end their hopes of an upset.
Why they won: The Heat had a bad first quarter, but had a very strong final quarter, Lebron almost recorded a triple double recording 35 points, dishing out 8 assists and played dominant defense taking 9 boards, James and Bosh on the court in the second half was all too much for the Wizards, when Bosh wasnt recording baskets (30 points), it was Lebron James doing the dirty work, the Wizards defense was too weak for the Heat's powerful offense.
