If you are scared off by the strange format in the beginning you can relax. It changes later on.

With the release of the 2K11 patch I started this Dynasty.
You will see I that I am not your typical manager and I do not play like other folks do. I play an uptempo type of game. Any games I actually play will have 5 minute quarters. Do not be surprised to see a lot of trades.

Next post. The birth of a new era in Charlotte.

The diary of one Manfred Nissley.
8/2/10
I started my job search today. I hope I can get a nice cushy file clerk position.
8/3/10
Applied local hospital to be a medical record's clerk.
8/4/10
Applied for a low level Administrative Support position with the Charlotte Bobcats today.
8/5/10
Hospital sent immediate refusal to interview me. Wished me well on future endeavors. I shall have my revenge.
8/6/10
Charlotte Bobcats called today. I have an interview for 2 PM on Monday.
8/7/10
Nice Day off.
8/8/10
Awesome sermon at church today regarding revenge. I will drop my grievance against Hospital.
8/9/10
I am stunned. I was hired on the spot! Go Bobcats!
8/10/10
moving
8/16/10
Started the job today.
8/17/10
Found something odd in the files. Reported straight to Mr. Jordan.
8/18/10
Mr. Jordan has ordered a clean sweep of organization except for new hires. I am stunned.
8/19/10
Mr Jordan wants to see me tomorrow. Shaking in my boots.
8/20/10
I am on cloud 9! Mr. Jordan offered me the GM position! Of course I said yes!
8/21/10
Went home to tie up loose ends.
8/22/10
Youth group had farewell party for me after an awesome church service.
8/23/10
Hired new coach. His name is Paul Silas.

to be continued....

Don't trade away your whole team. It ruins the real aspect of the Association. Do you really want to have a 2010 Association of LeBron, D-Wade, Dirk in Dallas? It doesn't make sense.
Make trades that you actually need with. For example, if you lose Dirk for the season, you have Steve Novak/Brian Cardinal at the 4, which makes your team really weak. You could trade a 1st rounder or 2nd rounder for maybe a good PF. But (Sorry if the guy gets mad for picking on him) if Washington offers John Wall for Chandler and Turiaf, you better not accept that. Ruins the realism of the game.

Hinrich 74
SG
Sefolosha 67
Forbes 65
Neal 65
SF
Gay 87
Mbah A Moute 70

1st Game
Bobcats slaughtered at the hands of rogue Mavericks
The Bobcats were slaughtered tonight by the Mavericks at a tune of 60-29. We knew this team is rebuilding, but still.
Player of the Game was Jason Terry who could not be stopped!
Conley was slightly injured and will play through an injury for 1 -2 weeks

phpBB [video]

Thabo Sefolosha went into the gym and worked hard on his jump shot and showed significant improvements.

2nd game
Bobcats claw the defenseless Pacers 74-34. The poor Pacers had no chance. The Bobcats took out their anger of their last loss against the Mavs.
Player of the Game was Thabo Sefolosha. The dude was on fire! in 12 minutes he scored 16 points, had 2 rebounds and assists. He also had a block.
One of the pacers after a hard foul.

With a fantasy draft every player is with another team and I did not want that. I also wanted to keep this at least a little realistic. After all, all of this could happen.

Game 3
Cats hold off the Buck 55-48
The game was back and forth until the final minutes. The cats then built an insurmountable lead.
POG was Rudy Gay with 20 points. He also had a nice block!
Cats are now 2-1 and the Bucks are 1-2

Rudy Gay's block into the 20th row.

Gooden preparing to enact his revenge on the Bucks. A nice block to seal the win.

Rumor Mill
Timberwolves looking to unload Webster?

Injury Report
Tony Allen of Memphis is playing hurt with a strained Hamstring for 2-4 weeks
Shannon Brown of the Lakers is out for 2-4 weeks with a severe ankle sprain
Chris Budinger of Houston is out with 2-4 weeks with a broken toe.
Kevin Martin of Houston is out and Day to Day with with a sore ankle.
Mike Conley of Charlotte is playing hurt for 1-2 weeks with a sore knee.
Luke? Harangody of Boston is playing hurt for 2-4 weeks with a strained groin.

Transactions
I sent Forbes and Pendergraph to the D. League

Game 4
Cats pull away from Nets and win by 20! 63-43
Cats are now 3-1 and Nets are 2-2
POG is Sefolosha with 22 points, 1 rebound, 1 block, and 1 assist
Hinrich also had a block that was controversial as it appeared he went through the rim and hit the ball on the way down.

Game 5
Bobcats lose in blowout 60-47 to Pistons
Bobcats might need to look for new coach. He may have thrown the game!
POG was Ben Gordon with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block

Controversial block that did not matter.

This is why Gordon was the player of the game.

My faith in Brown is waning.
3rd quarter.
Neal just hit back to back 3s to tie the game! Where was he in the first half! But why is Powe in at the PG position?
End of 3rd. 43-34 Pistons
Brown majorly goofed on rotations. He cost us the game. Did he throw it? I need to talk to Jordan!

Puttins Bobcats yr1 5-2 (Leaving their Claw Marks on the NBA

Postby puttincomputers on Mon Feb 14, 2011 10:40 am

11/6/10
Manfred's Diary
News Head line: Toronto to fire Triano?

I just fired Steve Strickler and hired Byron Arthur as the new Trainer. I gave him a 6 year contract.
I signed Cedric Neal as an extra Draft Scout. He also received a six year contract.

I needed a good sharpshooting guard that could start so I traded Gooden (70) (5yr 32m contract) to Cleveland for Anthony Parker (69) (1yr 2.9m contract) + 2nd round Pick of 2012
I called up Forbes (62?) and traded him to Chicago for their 2011 2nd round pick.

As a result of the trading of Gooden I became really thin in the middle.
So...
I traded Elson (61) and a 2nd round pick of 2012 (Lakers) to Orlando for Ryan Anderson (65).
I also traded Powe (65) + Mbah A Moute (71) + 2nd round pick of 2011 (Chicago) to Chicago for Taj Gibson (72).
I then signed Pargo (62).

New Starting Lineup
Conley
Parker
Gay
Brand
Gibson

Game 6 Cats crush Magic 67-48
Something is wrong with the Magic as they have now dropped to 1-5.
POG Sefolosha.
11/7/10
Manfred's Diary
Next game is at the woeful Magic. Even though they are an 88 on paper they are only 1-4!
First shot for Parker... Swish from three!
End of First half: The new guys are on fire! Wait... They are all new guys and they are all on fire!
Gibson and Parker were the guys we needed
End of 3rd. Up big! 46-32
End of Game
Parker had 8 points, 1 assist and 2 blocks
Gay had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Yet Sefolosha was the POG with 11 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block in only 8 minutes!

A nice block by Parker!
Image
2 seconds later Parker forces Arenas to change his shot!
Image
Gibson and one
Image
Nice jam by Ebanks posterizing Howard
Image
One of the few highlights of the magic
Image

11/08/10
Game 7 Bobcats 4-2 vs Spurs 3-2
Bobcats win a nail-biter against Spurs 54-49.
POG Anthony Parker. 12 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 14 minutes,

Manfred's Diary
This game is close here in the 2nd quarter. Tim Duncan just went to the line for an and 1.
WOW! Nice block by Brand to keep things tied up going into halftime!
Gibson just had an awesome block here in the beginning of the third.
Nice Jam by Neal here in the third. Down by one.
Brand still has it! hoop plus foul!
We have the lead going into the fourth! 36-24
We beat them! Good Game!
Taj had a nice line. 4 points, 3 rebounds 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in 13 minutes.
Duncan and 1
Image

Parker's French vocabulary is trying to think of something to say to his coach after allowing Gibson to block him so easily!

Neal with the Jam. Posterizes Parker.

Top News Story: "Gallinari out indefinitely due to broken wrist"
Other notable injuries
Willie Green of New Orleans is out 2-4 weeks with a broken toe.
Etan Thomas of Atlanta is playing hurt for 2-4 weeks with a strained MCL

11/11/10
Game 8 Charlotte (5-2) versus the lowly Raptors (0-7)
The Cats toyed with the Raptors and eventually put them away 49-42
POG Conley. 10 points, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block

Manfred's Diary
We decided to use our green unis today and the raps used a retro home uni.
Gibson just had a great block on Warrick!
Wow! A nice steal and dunk by Ebanks!
End of first half and we are leading 24-17
Bargnani is killing us! He already has 10 points!
End of 3rd and we let them back in the game. 37-31.
Spark of the game is Neal
Woot! We win 49-42

I am going try something rather time consuming, something could lead to nlsc draftees in the future.

Today is Valentines Day which makes the last pic even funnier!

Game 9 6-2 Cats @ 2-4 Wizards
Cats get shellacked by Wizards 63-42
POG John Wall 12 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists, and 1 steal.

Manfred's Diary
We pulled out our Retro away uni and Washington pulled out the Retro Home Zephyr uni.

End of First quarter. Down by 5. 19-14
Wall is killing us!
At the end of the half we are down 31-19
We can't do anything right!
End of 3rd quarter. Nobody won that quarter.
Late in the fourth: We probably had our only highlight of the night just now. Nice putback by Evans.

News: Raptors win first game with new coach.
