Most NBA players these days wear a compression tank top under their jersey. So why not just skip the jersey and wear the compression undergarment function as the uniform top?
That's an idea that the NBA has decided to test-drive in the upcoming all-star game. The league will announce today that all players in that game will have the option of wearing skin-tight compression tanks instead of the standard Adidas jerseys.

What do you guys think? Looks weird IMO.

It's not a bad idea to skip the jersey but I have to agree that it is indeed ghey.

Not sure if it's a good idea to try it out in the ASG. Would've been a better idea if they just tried it out during a T-Wolves vs. Cavs game. :P Still, I'd choose the standard jersey.

It's like they took the tight-fitting style of some NCAA basketball jerseys and shrunk them in the dryer.

May as well, I don't agree with this idea in the regular season but I don't mind it in a novelty event like the ASG.

Judging from the few times I've seen the All-Star commercial (Which was awful by the way; Has their ever been a good All-Star game commercial for any sport?) I think that's the theme. I think it was about attacks from somewhere on Los Angeles and a fiery Derrick Rose, among other All-Stars, were coming to save the Staples Center.

The design of the jersey itself isn't too bad but yeah, I too could do without the skin-tight look.

And why in the world Derrick Rose is number 11?

Oh. I know it's All-Star 11, but I didn't know the picture is for promotional use. My bad.
