As a big Magic fan i was a bit sceptic drafting Shaq to Dallas, but once in a while it got somehow familiar to me.

I am really curious if this is maybe the beginning of a new era.

Rick Fox, Shaq , Derek Harper... they can resist against the strong Western teams.

Looks like Willie Lewis had a hard time hitting the net. Maybe he was shooting with his eyes closed . Their Big 3 though played fantastic.

105 : 98

November 23rd 1992 Game 12

Chicago with success on the road ...

I expected more from the Lakers today... It was not very challenging at all.

Magic Johnson
was the best performer on the Lakers side, he scored 19 points 8 rebounds and booked 14 assists, almost a triple double.

The NLSCler Steven Joes had a bad night today, he tried four shots from outside but couldnt hit anything. At least he made his two Freethrows after being fouled by Pippen.

Michael Jordan again with a solid performance, he scored 30 points which give him a career total of 19.412, the 20k are approaching slowly.

Robert Horry with 19 points and 18 rebounds! He has a good look on Rookie of the Month for November, Horry really seems to be a godsend for the Bulls this year.

"We are in a good shape and we want to bring home those 7 wins on this roadtrip"

This statement from Phil Jackson will be proofed in the next game against the Phoenix Suns, the no 1 team of the last regular season.

Yes, i wonder a bit about Horry`s rebounding ability, he averages 10 per game.

Sliders:

i use Simulation with some adjustments. In the first games i played 12 minutes quarter. The Lakers game was 11 minutes.

With 12 minutes i have to slow down way too much.

I think 11 min will be okay for me, maybe the rebound number is still a bit to high, but i dont care.

142 : 115

November 24th 1992 Game 13

MJ with career high in a desaster Game for Phoenix

77 was the number of this evening. Michael Jordan scored unbelievable 77 points. Since Chamberlain in the early 60s the 75 point mark was unreached. It was a very fast game by the Bulls who benefited from a desolate defense of the Phoenix Suns.

There was just no resistance, the Bulls already scored 82 points in the first half. Jordan had 46 points after the half another record for him. Most Suns fans already left the building to that time. The Phoenix Suns no 1 seeded team of the last season are now with a record of 7-8 not even on a Playoff spot.

MJ said after the game: "We won this game and we are on a run now, it doesnt matter if i score 20 points or 50 or whatever, the main thing is we are back to hunt the trophy this year!"

In the end the Bulls defeated the Suns with 142 : 115.

Zee Otoo the new man in the Suns squad was impressed of that performance, even shocked.

"We have to put things together now and concentrate on the next games, we should not struggle with this defeat. The Bulls just played in an extraterrestrial league tonight."

Winning streak ends in Denver...

The Denver Nuggets cut off the Chicago Bulls winning streak. Maybe the Bulls were just a bit tired after that blowout game in Phoenix two days before.

The Denver Nuggets booked 23 steals and forced the Bulls into 23 turnovers.

For the Nuggets this was a really important victory. They are at 4-11 now and have to hang on with the teams in the West.

Thank you,

but i really have to say this was not planned or something. MJ hitted almost everything in the 1st Q, and then i thought , ok here we go...

It was a bit shocking, that there was no resistance from the Suns. I think i could have won even higher but i played the second half with my backup squad.

55 FGA Attempts is amazing but not as crazy as putting up 77 on the Suns.

Tough loss against the Magic, but it looks like the scoring for both teams was pretty much balanced around three players. Lol at the spankage to the Kings.

Yep that loss against the Magic.... this was very needless. I only did stupid things in the last minutes and gave the victory away.

The next game will be in Boston and after that the rematch against the Rockets. (Y)

but i think i am going to post the November standings before that.
