I'd just like to say a couple of things for this milestone post. First, I'd like to state the fact that the NLSC is the only forum that I'm actively visiting and post onto. I do exist in some other forums but I don't post a lot compared to how I do here. It's just that the people on other forums are -- happy nice.
And I didn't expect to last this long here at the NLSC, knowing that I'm from the same country like CoolMac and McDwyane. Good thing shadowgrin is sexy enough to prove that Pinoys aren't just astig for nothing.
I'd like to thank Andrew for letting me be part of the NLSC team. I've been visiting NLSC since the Live 2001 days and I've always wondered how to patch stuff for Live (and now 2k). This has helped me improve my craft even more. I still admire the skills of Conrad, Tony, Jowe, Tuomas, Andreas, Mikki, Fran, Glen, Pat, Jon, Ben (I look up to you guys) and I know I have a mountain to climb to make it to their level but through the NLSC and the patches I (rarely) complete, I know I'm improving.
Another thing that the NLSC has contributed to me is the confidence in speaking -- even in person. My English isn't perfect but because I'd like to post (and I'm not doing a good job), I've improved in the craft of posting and spamming as well.
I'd also like to thank the NLSC Forum community for giving me advice when I went on the unemployment slump last April until October. You've learned about my previous job, my shortcomings on being a teacher, being a frustrated graphic designer, and being a guy who struggles in his social life. I'd like to thank you all for reading all the rants I had in the Letting Off Steam thread. And for that, I'll give you free access to the "Secret Super Exclusive" Section of the forums for one day.
To all the guys who have given me insights in my works -- whether they be patches or just graphic works -- thank you very much. You all know that when there is free time, all you need to expect is a patch release or a new art done.
