If someone had a render/xplayer/ folder with EVERY player's folder in there...but with nothing inside of the folders...and make it as a ZIP file so that people can download it...extract into their directory and edit the players they choose...it gets really tedious creating player folders one by one.

Thats the whole point...there are tons of patchers out there...so why have one particular patcher doing all players? If every player is folder is empty...it makes it easier to chose whatever patch you want. Extracting the files from a ZIP file to a folder that already EXISTS is very helpful.

Only if the patchmaker included the original path when creating the .zip file.
