yes, with the REDitor you can overwrite NBA teams with your CAT logos, uniforms, and rosters. You need one of the paid versions of it so you can edit all the needed tabs (uniforms, teams, arenas, staff).
Pretty much you create a team, copy its values over an NBA team's values and change the GID of the jersey appropriately, and then do again and again.

no, we are limited to 10 CATs, 18 Classic teams, 5 unlocked developer teams, 30 NBA, 4 All Star and then team slots for blacktop & my player modes.

unfortunately it is as we need to preserve the file size or else the roster will make the game crash
