Conaw FTW.

His new show started yesterday, it was kind of disappointing
Then again, this was his first show back in a few months. The monologues are still as bad as they were on the Tonight show, but he did get a few digs in at NBC
I don't really watch after the guests start appearing...the show's 2nd episode is about to start in 5 minutes

He topped the ratings amongst the late night hosts, though I'm guessing that won't last once the hype dies down a bit. I didn't get to see it, they're showing it on GEM here in Australia but I tuned in last night and they were showing repeats of Friends an hour earlier than listed so I'm not sure what happened there. Hopefully a Foxtel channel will pick it up in the near future as well.

It's also available on the teamcoco site if you aren't region blocked.
First one wasn't that great, second episode killed it until Soundgarden.

Last-minute hangup with getting it over here quick enough, so it's running 24 hours behind what was initially planned.

Ah OK, thanks.
I couldn't watch the full episode on the teamcoco website so it may be region blocked. I was able to watch the short clips though. Not to worry, I'll just try and catch it on GEM and hope it comes to Foxtel soon enough.

What's it matter whether it's on GEM or Foxtel?
Thu Nov 11, 2010 7:29 pm
For most people, it doesn't matter at all. I just happen to watch more Foxtel than FTA, so that's what I'd prefer.

Catching up with the last December '09 and January '10 episodes of Tonight Show before I see the new show.

Ah, changing input sources and whatnot. Yeah. I get all the FTA channels through the IQ2, so I don't even notice the difference.

Yeah, wouldn't want to miss out on any key plot threads.

It's just a matter of timeline.

If they run any deals in the near future, I might have to upgrade to IQ. For now, I'll make do.

Awesome.

Ferguson is still so much better than everybody else, it's not even close.
The LLS is apparently on in Australia since a week or so I think.
Sun Jan 16, 2011 9:56 am
I'd respectfully disagree; I'm with CoCo. I enjoyed Ferguson on The Drew Carey Show all those years ago, he had a memorable cameo in Red Dwarf back in the 80s and he's had some other very funny appearances here and there but what I've seen of the Late Late Show, I wasn't blown away.
Sun Jan 16, 2011 10:14 am
I think it really depends what you're watching for. Some are better interviewers (Carson Daly), some are better at skits (CoCo), some better at monologues (Ferg). My opinion at least
And some are better at getting celeb cameos that make skits funny (Kimmel)

Letterman's pretty strong across the board, I'd have to give him that.
Sun Jan 16, 2011 1:04 pm
Ferguson is great because he actually has conversations with his guests. Instead of asking questions that start with "I heard..." or "Tell me about...".
I like Conan a lot too. Good to see him back.
Glad the LLS is finally on over here.

anybody see harrison ford on conan? he's defintely on E or something like that. conan is great with guests and he did a really good job with harrison knowing he needed to carry the conversation

Wow, that was weird.

Still a better interview than Robert De Niro.
Sun Jan 16, 2011 11:25 pm
yeah i mean it's one thing to have the strange, non-PC answers you normally get but it's hard to explain him wanting to rub his hands on everything

Harrison Ford was awkward, but Jack Black (December 22) and Adam Sandler this past Monday were hilarious.
