Auburn Tigers! BCS National Championship! AU! WAR EAGLES!

Postby Triple J on Tue Jan 11, 2011 4:04 pm

2010 Nation Champions AUBURN TIGERS!!! WAR EAGLES!!! GO AU!!!

Mad props to Michael Dyer for that insane run, Cam Newton for holding it down , that amazing D for basically shutting down Oregon. Along with the O-Line (they did their job clean). I also have to thank Gene Chizik and the whole coaching staff in turning this Auburn Team around. In the start of the season, no one believed my Tigers would even make it to a bowl game ... GUESS WHAT? WE WON THE BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, BIG TIME!!!!!

(P.S. - You gotta respect Cam Newton for being so humble after winning and the whole team praying for the victory. Now that is what you call A TEAM OF CHAMPIONS)

And no I ain't a band wagoner :applaud: I've been with this team for the past 5 years! Payed off big time! YAY! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:  :chug:

No I dont gotta respect shit. Everything about Auburn is shady. As are most football programs in the South. Fairley's dirty as fuck, and I have very little respect for any player on that team. Not that I respected Oregon either, but acting like any national champion college football team is full of integrity is like implying the phillipines isnt full of ice cream on buns.

Also, that run by dyer wasnt skill. It was pure dumb fucking luck made by positioning. He thought he was done and was walking back to the line of scrimmage. Skill is breaking 6-7 tackles, cutting, using the right angles. That run was an example of while a technically correct call, of stupidity by the oregon D not making sure his ass was down.

No one expected you to make a bowl game? you were the pre-season number 22. Usually the top 25 make bowl games.

Congrats on the win but stop acting like it was some grand underdog story. You guys were the top of the game all year, dominated almost anything thrown at you, and most likely bribed NCAA officials to let Cam play. Of course you won a fucking national championship.

This will be vacated in three years. The investigation into Cam and his family isnt done.

The best part was that they almost made the same mistake again a play or two later.

Did you even watch the post-game? If you didn't well ... :turrible:

How about Dyer's other runs? LOL :xmas: Dyer was pretty much the reason why Auburn won yesterday.

Yes, we were ranked No.22 in the post season. But how many ranked No.22 teams actually make it to a bowl game?

If you think about it, it was somewhat a underdog story. Probably not grand, but still pretty good.

Yes, we were at the top of the game. We faced 7 top bowl teams and still managed to beat them. Bribing NCAA officials to let Cam play ... lets wait 5 more years and see.

Actually, the investigation is basically over as the NCAA doesn't have enough information to continue.

why should i watch a bunch of people jack themselves off? Dude, seriously: i dont watch this shit for the personality of the players. I dont give a shit what they think. I watch because i'm entertained by a game they play. Dont care if they're humble or not. Hell not being humble has given some of the best football moments in decades.

Do you know anything about football? Its called defense. Fairley is the reason yall won. The offense was sloppy as hell the entire game.

Yes, we were ranked No.22 in the post season. But how many ranked No.22 teams actually make it to a bowl game?

If they stay undefeated? all of them. And bowl games? probably every #22 that wins at least 6 games, i'd say most of them. Now if you're talking BCS game, then sure you'd technically be correct but what about those of us who hate the BCS?

If you think about it, it was somewhat a underdog story. Probably not grand, but still pretty good.

Just really? Really? Tell me one way there was an underdog here. Dominant D. Dominant QB who won a heisman. Won the best conference in college football. Favored since the end of the season to destroy Oregon. Once again, congrats on the win, but stop acting like you were underdogs, ever. If you're from the SEC: you're never an underdog in football. Talk to TCU or Boise about underdog stories. You know, when losing 1 game gets you the Las Vegas Bowl. Auburn is a powerhouse and despite a down couple of years have always been a pretty substantial power. Just because you just started following them doesnt mean they always sucked.

Somebody will out him. You wait and see. If Cam was this good, he wouldnt've just up and left Florida. Something is shady here and I dont like it. They rule him inelligible and then by magic within hours he was ruled ok. Shits not kosher that.

There was a play last night where the announcers even mentioned Chizik saying "write that kid a check."

Just sayin'

Which is why we need a playoff instead of having some flawed system of numbers. If the FCS can do it, why can't the FBS do it?

Lol "I aint no bandwagoner" that's what they all say LOL.

List of teams: Los Angles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Indianapolis Colts, Auburn Tigers

Three of them have won something in the past five seasons, and the three of four appeared in their respective league's bowl/finals.

smells fishy, also, why support the Indianapolis Colts, but not the Indianapolis Pacers, but the Los Angeles Lakers?

One of the qualities of a great person is being humble.

Do you know anything about football? Its called defense. Fairley is the reason yall won. The offense was sloppy as hell the entire game.

Yes, I actually do know a lot about football. I play offense and defense on the varsity team that is one of the top ranked schools in the nation. Well Dyer helped push for that game winning drive.

I personally hate the BCS too. I want to see a playoffs .. wouldn't that be exciting? ... What are the chances of a #22 team winning all GAMES and making the national championship?

Just really? Really? Tell me one way there was an underdog here. Dominant D. Dominant QB who won a heisman. Won the best conference in college football. No one predicted that Auburn would make the BCS championship game besides their faithful fans. In note, me  . During the pre-season, few people knew who Cam Newton was. No one knew how good he would have been. If you are in a SEC, and you won a national championship .. you could be somewhat a underdog because of the difficulty winning SEC rivalry games. I will again state that I am not a band-wagoner. My dad graduated from Auburn -__-

My dad graduated from Auburn -__- So our house is full with Auburn stuff. I'm a fan of the Chicago Bulls because of it's legendary history, teams, and legacy. Along with the new talent in Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah. I mean even if D-Rose leaves, I will still support the Bulls. My whole family along with cousins are die-hard Los Angeles Lakers fans and Indianapolis Colts. Anything else you want me to say?

You ignored my point. I dont give two shits about their personality. And who says being humble is a good thing? Humble people annoy the fuck out of me. If you're great, you should brag about it dammit!

I personally hate the BCS too. I want to see a playoffs .. wouldn't that be exciting? ... What are the chances of a #22 team winning all GAMES and making the national championship?

By the system that is in place and the way the BCS runs, there is no such thing as an underdog from the SEC that wins all games. Sorry. Doesnt matter where you start the season, its where you finish and yall were #4 and above since week 8 when the bcs. Thats not an underdog story sunshine

Few people knew who cam newton was? what the fuck are you talking about? most people knew he was a backup at florida who won a national JC championship. Stop. I dont care if you were at a JC, if you win a national championship, you're probably pretty damn good. And people wouldnt've been willing to pay him money if he wasnt good. Lots of people knew how good he was going to be. Also, the last 5 championships have been SEC teams. No SEC team that manages to get out of the conference is an underdog. People even pick the shitty SEC teams just because they're SEC.
