you deserve to be shot.
The Chicago Bulls have supposedly been trying to land a shooting guard via trade, but the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that "no deal is imminent or even likely" to upgrade the position right now.
Rumors had the Bulls trying to snag O.J. Mayo from the Minnesota Timberwolves [sic] or Stephen Jackson from the Charlotte Bobcats, but the paper reports that Keith Bogans, Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver will remain in that position for the foreseeable future, though the Bulls have talked with some teams about it.

Nice game by Deng yesterday while Booze keeps the great performances. The thing is though that Bulls need a shooting guard who can actually shoot the ball consistently! Neither Brewer nor Bogans, who bricked every single shot yesterday, can cope with that role. I would like to have a player like Mayo on the team. He's a nice fit and he can revive his season on the Bulls. Unless Grizzlies want too much in exchange , this would be a nice addition. Or even T-mac would be good. But clearly a sg is needed for Bulls to be even better.

The wins are still happening, which is what matters, and you have to ask would Brewer bring anything extra to the court in those first few minutes of the game or those first few minutes after half time. Probably not. We used to ask the same questions about Ben Gordon being better off the bench or starting, and i dont know if we ever arrived at anything conclusive.
That said, if you are going to make the change, then the time to make that change would be right now, while the schedule is still fairly soft, so it's not as potentially damaging if the experiment fails.
But a good solid win against the dinos. Keeping the starters' minutes down in the first leg of a back-to-back was a smart move, which looked even smarter with the kickass play of Gibson and Asik.
