Solid update and again top notch presentation !

So with a 19-2 record i think you may be setting a new win record by seasons end.

On pace for 74 victories... Liking how both Bron and Flash are consistent (30-7-7, 25-6-6) (Y)

74 victories? U grazy.

The pace is purely calculated by my win%. I highly doubt that I'll win 70, let alone 74.

LeBron James got off to a hot start, as he recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the first half. The HEAT outscored the Jazz 32-15 in the first quarter, including a 12-2 run to open the game, and led by 16 at the half. But the Jazz rallied and were very close to ending the HEAT winning streak.

But Dwyane Wade made 2 foul shots to put the HEAT up by 3 with 14 seconds left to seal the win.

LeBron had a quadruple-double, if you count the turnovers with 38 points, 11 rebounds and a season-high 13 assists. The 14 turnovers is a HEAT record and ties the NBA record, held by Jason Kidd and John Drew.

Despite a great first half for the HEAT, the Jazz outscored Miami 31-20 in the third quarter. They kept pouring it on and eventually tied the game at 107. Both teams would exchange baskets, the HEAT fell behind by one, but Joel Anthony's baby-hook put the HEAT up by 1.

Dwyane Wade, who is still bothered by a strained quad, drove to the rim hard and drew a foul with 14 seconds left. He made both shots to put Miami up 114-111.

On the next possession, Utah chose to drive to rim for a quick 2. With 7 seconds left, Al Jefferson laid the ball in. But on the inbounds, the HEAT were able to just dribble out the clock to win their 10th straight game.

Image
"LeBron's turnovers weren't his fault. It wasn't like he drove to the basket 14 times just to lose the ball. Most of 'em came down to poor communication. I'm still hurt and couldn't handle his passes, so with CB and the others. But we won and he did have a triple-double, so, I'm fine. I'm sure he is too."

LeBron James had another memorable performance in Madison Square Garden, picking up a triple-double in the HEAT's 113-110 win. The bad news will come after Dwyane Wade gets his ankle reevaluated in hospital. Early diagnosis has Wade missing at least a month.

Chris Bosh led everyone in scoring with 30, LeBron added 29 points with 11 boards and 10 dimes. Joel Anthony scored a career-high 15 points and Kyle Korver returned from an injury with 13 points. Dwyane Wade scored 11 points before going down with an injury.

Once again, the HEAT turned the ball over too much, committing 21 turnovers. LeBron James had 8 and Mario Chalmers had 6.

Amar'e Stoudemire led New York with 26 points, Raymond Felton had 18 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals.

The HEAT got off to a hot start, leading by as many as 16 in the first quarter, leading by 12 after 1. The Knicks fired on all cylinders in the second and narrowed the lead to 7, 66-59.

In the third quarter, both teams slowed down and scored 23 points each.

With just 49 seconds into the fourth, Dwyane Wade stayed on the floor after grabbing a rebound. He was carried off on a stretcher and taken to hospital.

The Knicks saw a window of opportunity and rallied 13-5 and tied the game at 97. The game was close onwards. LeBron James' 2 free throws put the HEAT up by 2. Amar'e Stoudemire went in for a reverse dunk, but was blocked by Joel Anthony. The Knicks were called for a defensive 3-second violation and LeBron put the HEAT up 3.

He missed a three-pointer on the same possession and the Knicks called a time-out with 4 seconds left. Danilo Gallinari caught the inbounds pass and got a good, open look, but missed the game-tying three-pointer.

Wade needs surgery, will miss 6-8 weeks

Image

The Miami Heat have announced that Dwyane Wade suffered a broken ankle in the win against New York and he will need surgery. He is expected to return in time for the All-Star Break.

Wade has helped the HEAT to a league-best 23-5 record. Wade missed his first game of the season tonight against Washington. Kyle Korver, who just came off an injury will start in Wade's place. He scored 16 points against Washington in their 89-85 win.

Wade is currently the leading vote-getter among Eastern Conference guards.

Chris Bosh is also hurt, but will play through his injury.
