Just a few, Im not in the mood to write a poem:

 Do not change graphics settings for online mode- I'm so sick of live 07 graphics
 Change the source of Courts/Jerseys- they often have the wrong design and color tones
 Ability to choose voice for your player
 Players should do hustle plays all the time- If the ball is loose sprint towards it at all costs, even if there's a little chance of getting it.
 Ability to choose pre-game routine for my player.
 Reduce interceptions and elevation on jumps while improving offense logic for the CPU
 Add scheduled playable practices for my player- there could be 1 or 2 a week of them where you should do a random drill or a 5 on 5 game. They should not be long, 5- 10 mins a practice. At the end you might improve or downgrade you rating(and high rating most definitely should not mean easier practice, the better you are the higher expectations should be)/player chemistry/coaching chemistry(a new feature I thought of responsible for the minutes you play, think Nate Robinson and Mike D'Anthony) depending on your performance.
 2 types of roles in MP- the player role( the current one) and the teammate role; the teammate roles would be something like- Leader(think Kobe), Energy(think Glen Davis), Reliable(think Billups, Horry, Gasol, Ginobili, David West), Support(think of a veteran, like Mutombo a few years back), Neutral(not really established a role yet or nothing to show for, in a word just another player), The weak link(think Coby Karl), Outsider(your teammates don't like you). Teammate role depends on chemistry and really just shows where you are in your team.

That's it for now

PLAYER MOVEMENT / PASS RECEIVING:

thats one thing that i think was better in 2K10 : PLAYER MOVEMENT ...I admit players used to catch crazy passes too easily but now :

When running a fast break and making a pass to a teamate a bit before he crosses the halfcourt line as the passing player is about to cross it , sometimes pass receiver will move up or down that line instead of going foward and crossing it...results in a backcourt violation.
OR if he doesnt go up or down that line he just stops running to catch the pass instead of catching it when running ... results in backcourt violation too if the pass is made by anticipation...

I noticed that also when a player is making a backdoor cut...u press the pass button and he kinda changes direction when u make the pass and doesnt receive it where u'd expect it

lol i hope i made myself clear... and that others noticed the same isshhh

i have only a few things i wanna change.

in 2k9, i loved the pre game video intros of star players while it was loading. i thought that was very realistic and entertaining. Another thing is definently a physics engine a la nhl 11. i hate the way you can drive and then just get held up by the defnese and walk backwards. its very unrealistic to a real nba game. also shooting fouls are called at very stupid times and should be fixed. also commentary shud be fixed. they NEVER actually talk about the game. if you play with just the lakers for example, you get so sick of the same commentrys about bynums injury in the playoffs, paus chemistry with kobe or kobes clutch shooting. and crowds in all sports games suck so if 2k12 were to fix that, itd be good.

Re: NBA 2K12 Wishlist (Official Thread)

Tue Nov 23, 2010 10:51 pm

okay im gonna start it by saying thank you to 2k sports team for doing 2k11

BRING BACK THE "MY CRIB" FEATURE YOU HAD ON 2k7
NO MORE GENERIC SHOES
BEING ABLE TO CHOOSE WHAT SCOREBOARD YOU WANNA YOU USE? LIKE ESPN? BTV or something like that together with the commentators from each network
BETTER CREATE PLAYER FEATURES? CREATED PLAYERS LOOK LIKE THOSE OF 2k9 and 2k11 without mods
and lastly? pls fix this because its soo funny listening to the commentator hearing that COLE ALDRICH is one of the greatest dunkers of all time :applaud: :applaud:

As good as it was it had no use outside of single or season games. It's not applicable in association after a year.

You don't like the crowd chant "we want tacos!" while playing against the Lakers when they are near 100 pts?

My Player: I second the idea of more skill points givin. Also when creating player, add custom celebrations, and emotional reactions.

Shoes: More accurte shoe colors and models, the shoe trim thing kinda gets annoying, I always end up adding custom colors. No more generic shoes. Assign apropriate shoe models to players. KG does not wear generic shoes! 2 years ago it was all about the adidas.

Accessories: I agree with color selection for accessories, home and away. Goggles. Mouth pieces.

Tatoos: more selections

facial stuff: more hair choices. Facial hair, etc.

CAP face: no more "distant relatives" for created players that look the same. We gotta have better customization. Like Mass Effect. Maybe the picture scan technology FIFA has.

Commentators: it's alright, just make it more time appropriate. And special commentary stuff like for 3 point streaks, and late game excitement.

Blacktop: either get rid of it and get allstar weekend, or majorly improve it. That's all I'll say for that

teams by decade. No not "90's east" but teams from the decade. Like in the 90's decade have the spurs, the bulls, the celtics, the magic, the bucks, the late lakers, and same or the 2000's.

New hoop looks. That's one thing NBA live excelled at, courts, crouds, and hoops. I like the net animations and stuff. 2K hasn't changed that in a while.

Idk what else for now.

1) Better commentary ( I'd like to see the commentaors talk about the generated rookies and how they did in college)

2) A Player Average scoring against the other teams they plays ( for example Paul Pierce Averages 23.1 PPG VS MIAMI, 28.1 PPG VS TORONTO, 32.4 PPG VS DALLAS)

3) Draft List- I'd like to see this ( in Association Mode you will see a list of what team draft what players and what trades happened that night.

4) Scouting - IN Scouting I'd like to see the grade on passing especially on the Point Guards.

All in all those I enjoy this game more than NBA Lives (Now Elite)

1.Make NBA TV,ESPN,or TNT scoreboard.
2.Allow us to do lob and bounce passes manually
3.Better crowd reaction and emotions at the end of the game.
4.Technical fouls and flagrant fouls
5.Better fouls.I want to have more fouls in the game,in 2k11 you can get foul only by shooting or illegal screen, charges are rarely called.Make more fouls so the game looks more realistic, for example when players are fighting at the post call a faul when they are fighting, not just when I shoot.
6.Better dunks.Make dunks more realistic and don't allow everybody to dunk like Vince Carter in his best days.

They'd have to go with NBA TV or TNT, if they can get the TNT license. EA has an exclusive deal with ESPN.

The NBA also won't allow any developer to add unsportsmanlike technicals or fights to the game. They'll only allow technicals that are assessed on technicalities (defensive three second violation, calling timeout with none left, etc).

It is stupid.Technical fouls are part of the game and they should be in every nba game.I would love to see,for example, when Lebron gets angry because no foul was called and gets a technical foul.

TNT or NBA TV,I don't care.I just want a realistic scoreboard in the game.

They are a part of the game but not a part of the game the NBA like to promote or celebrate, hence their hard line against developers including them. It's unlikely they're going to change their stance anytime soon as they're very image conscious. Of course, if they really wanted to maintain a good image they'd improve the standard of officiating and clean up a few rules that invite inconsistency, but that's a discussion for another section of the Forum.

2) Create a Shoe

It would be nice to make some difference in the post.
Mo Williams shots fadeaway from the post just like Kobe Bryant,it's unrealistic.
And it's not just Mo Williams,so as the many other players.

-I'd really like for them to change the coach logic in my player. I can't stand being something like 2/10 from the field and still getting 32min of play, it makes no sense. The coaches should take the stats of the game into account and take me out when I'm not hitting a shot. That's my biggest gripe with the game.

Re: NBA 2K12 Wishlist (Official Thread)

Fri Dec 10, 2010 1:07 am

I want to see a better Create a Team with team name/cities on the Jerseys instead of the logos

I want more courts in Blacktop again

I'd like the dunk contest and 3pt contest in association mode....I dont care that they dont follow the exact rules of the ever changing NBA DC, its still fun and doing it in association would be better. Also let us use CAPs and other breakout stars into the DC.

Let us export a roster from our associations, not just a team.

I want them to use their NFL 2k5 and APF 2k8 tech for collisions in the game, not just for when you brush up against players. Make arms make contact with each other, and have hands hit the backboard/rim so I cant get "ghost" blocks anymore.

photo CFs through online/eyetoy/kinect/webcam

and finally

integrate an NCAA game inside of the NBA game. have Basketball 2K12....that would be epic.

Re: NBA 2K12 Wishlist (Official Thread)

- crowd should be more into game
-anouncers changed
- charging call when pick is set properly
-franchise mode instead of just season
-better sportsmanship
-more signature moves
-and trades in season shouldnt be force trades so trades are actually realistic

-franchise mode instead of just season

Association anyone?

1) Better commentary ( I'd like to see the commentaors talk about the generated rookies and how they did in college)

If we have a situation where the 57th pick is starting, do you want to hear, "He averaged 2.5 points and 2 rebounds..." and then they start talking about his crapiness?

- (Assoc) Injuries that occur off games.. (during practice, or a flu maybe or freak accidents..

Already in the game. Couple times one of my players were out Day to Day with a knee injury.

- (Assoc) Create something sort of a GM goal or tendencies. If a team is on a rebuilding process, then they don't mind unloading an oldie with a high rating for a rookie with so much potential. If a team is looking for a ring, then allow trades where they get championship pedigree players in exchange for potential superstars that would need 5 years in the making.. Characteristics like Risk-Taker, Rebuilding, Championship-Run, Money Matters (unload big contracts and take in potential players with low salaries), Tankers (go for the lottery).

2k said that teams wanting to make a push for the playoffs would either need that one missing link, or rebuilding teams would just blow up their roster.
