For the last few milestone threads I've generally avoided shoutouts since there'll always be one or two people that slip my mind when I'm compiling the list but I do usually write up a few paragraphs thanking the NLSC Team for their hard work, the community for supporting us, alluding to future plans and offering the opinion that we've got a pretty good thing going here. I don't want to go on at length about all that this time because I've said so much on it before, but it's as relevant now as it was then, so I will touch on all those points briefly.
I do want to thank everyone on the NLSC Team for pitching in, contributing content and helping out in so many ways around the site; I couldn't do it without you guys. I'm always very appreciative of the support we get from the community, for sticking with us through good times and bad, making the best of things and for giving me a reason to put effort into the site. We have been tossing around a few ideas for improvements and expansion as we continue to move towards covering both NBA Live/Elite and NBA 2K along with NBA Jam and basketball gaming in general, I think you'll like them and I'm looking forward to introducing them to you in 2011. And while we do have our ups and downs in this community, I do still think we've got a pretty good thing going here.
With that out of the way, what else do I have lined up for this milestone thread? As I mentioned before, in the past I've done shoutouts and made speeches. I've told stories, I've had a Q&A and I've tried some games. I'll be honest, as this particular milestone came up, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do.
I decided what I'd like to do is share a few screenshots that I've taken at previous milestones. I'm not entirely sure why I took them, I guess just for fun and maybe to have something to reflect upon down the road, perhaps when I've moved on from the NLSC (that's not happening anytime soon though), but now seems an appropriate enough time to share them with the community. I like that they also provides a snapshot of other folks who've posted a lot here over the years and what the Forum has looked like through time.
The first one is the 10,000 post mark:

The second, 15,000:

Next up, 20,000:

I skipped 25,000 but I took another screenshot at 30,000:

I did acknowledge post 32,294 though, a couple of posts beyond Michael Jordan's total career points in the regular season:

And then 38,387 posts, matching Kareem's regular season career total:

After that, 50,000:

And now, 60,000.

Since we stress quality over quantity and not just posting for the sake of posting, I'd like to think that a more than acceptable percentage of my posts have been worthwhile, be they answering a question in one of the NBA Live sections, posting news or patch releases that people are interested in, offering feedback on someone else's work or joining in a discussion. I enjoy doing that, it's why I post as often as I do and while I'm still at this gig going on ten years now.
Speaking of things I enjoy, I thought I'd finish up by sharing my top ten dunks by Michael Jordan (to my recollection as of this moment), in no particular order.
Thanks again to everyone for your support of the NLSC. Like I said, I'm still here because I enjoy it and I plan on being here a while yet. I guess that means planning out something for my 70,000th post sometime next year.
