In ModTool, open the global.iff file then reach the texture you wanna change (for example : texture743)(you must select it),and then hit the "importRes" button. You choose your path and the new texture you wanna use (in this case, that'll be a file like texture743.dds) and done
Hope it'll help you

any news bro?
Can you make a tutorial on how to use nvidia normal map filter? Whenever I make one it doesn't look like the original where the key features stick out..
one of the easiest way to create aceptable detail normal map..
1.you need to work in bigger workspace than original texture size (twice bigger at least)
exmpl:the texture size is 256x256...so i'll work in 512x512
2.separate your texture from the brightest to the darkest..
exmpl:from my works i got 10 separate layer..
3.then copy each layer "X" times (it's up to you)...
exmple:lets say i work in 1st layer
-i copy this layer 4 times..(so i'll have 40 layer overall after i work on other layers)..
-adjust the blending, effect and brightness contrast untill i got a balance, seamless, and detail texture
-apply the tools for each layer..
4.Same methode for other separate texture..
5.After you finish all layer..flatern it all..and use the tool again to normalize and convert the map..
thats it...but you still need some works to make the bump map based on this normal map..
theres a bunch of tutorial how to use the tool bro, just use google to search..
