Graphic problem

Hi
i have one proble! the graphics are good but after +-10 secons playing my game it freezes for abaut 5 seconds, after that everything is back to normal for 10 secons and it stucks for 5 seconds again!!!! i tried to reinstall my video drivers, i was changing resolutio of the game but it didint work! So where is the problem? On my windows 98 secon edition everything was normal but then i installed windows 2003 the problems with nba live started. All other games run perfect!

i have installed "windows xp pro version 2002 sp1"! everything seems to be fine but after +- 10 minutes playing my game crashes and i get this message: "Microsoft Windows detected and recovered from the device failure. Please save your work and reboot to restore full functionality."
after that my computer freezes and i have to press reset buton!

Any idea what the problem is? Nba live was runing perfect only on my windos 98 secon edition!

Are you installing correct (Windows XP) drivers for your video card?

yes. i am installing correct drivers. and i tried many versions!

This is hardware problem, long time ago i have this same problem, looks like incompatibility, memory-motherboard.
Just happen when you play Live, or sometimes happens?? Cause your pc just run on full load, when your are using some hard program or game, then those problems happens..
Try to download on the net, any program to test your pc, there's a lot of them... keep the pc on for 24 hours and make the test..

Ole... can you recommend a good one?? it's not the ones that benchmark the speed right?

Btw, which graphic card is yours??
Sometimes Radeon Graphics cards, shows some problems with some Catalist drivers..

That's a BIG problem!!!
Try to buy some so so card and you will play Live so nice, i have a GF4 TI 4400, but the old model, it's a very good card, have for a year and a half, and i play everything on maximum..

No, i'm not sure sorry, ut i can tell you that, if you have problem when playing games, iy's looks like some hardware conflict.... cause happens when you use your hardware at full load, try the memory, try the program to test your memory...

maybe you can recommend me some programs to check my computer?
i have amd athlon 1400 mhz, nvidia g-force 440, 512 drr ram, asus motherbord and lan card
