upb live re-patchers.. juz a suggestion: better make a plan first for the total reconstruction of this mod..
-what outcome should we have?
-what teams should we keep and remove to have a working dynasty and a semi-realistic one? (30 teams 10 pba teams,smart gilas,philippine patriots,pbl?? liga pilipinas teams?? mora abl teams??)
-what all-star teams and national teams? (draft classes might be a good idea nba 2k type )
-new shoe patch anyone?
well i guess the team have all th resources.. ders a good jersey patcher already.. cf maker??
all i could do is a little dbf editing and roster editing in my free tym. i cant help in graphical editing.as long as we have good resources for jerseys,etc.

@luke101091, the jersey of the present san miguel beermen (home) is not showing up in the game instead, the entire beermen players wears the meralco bolts jersey... (only home) the rest of the beermen jerseys works perfectly... I wonder why? pls help...

Everyone, I have a simple minor update or contribution regarding the team names in UPB Live 2008, hope you like it....
About the Update:
-Changes the Coca Cola Tigers to Powerade Tigers (only the name, not the jersey)
-shortcut of Meralco Bolts is now updated...instead of SLR its now updated to MRL as in Meralco
-Rain or Shine Elasto Painter minor bug now edited.. Its now Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (I just added the missing letter):D
How to use:
*Just place the teams.dbf to your upb live 2008 save folder located in my documents.. place it in your present saved roster folder... this should be its directory: C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves\"your saved roster"
*To be sure, I recommend you to replace the teams.dbf in your currentdb folder this should be its directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\database\currentdb

Another mini Update regarding text editing in UPB...
About the mini Update:
-all 2008 text now changed to 2011... ex. UPB LIVE 2011
-CS9 texts now changed to Solar TV
-other NBA texts now changed to PBA or UPB..
How to use:
*Just place the Locale.eng in the sgsm folder of your UPB..

Hey guys... Josh of Air 21 express has a surname of Urbiztondo right? (in the UPB, its Orbiztondo)
I will again release some edited texts,this time in terms of the player names... and I will correct some jersey numbers too...
Note: Just jersey numbers and names... I am only good at dbf editing and other text files... dont expect me to make the missing cyberfaces of other players...
I am just trying to help and share my edited texts... hope you like it... stay tuned for the next text update...

any link for trax tutorial?? meanin lets give the mod a different soundtrax.. and a new UPB logo.. the pba 36th season logo in the boot up-start up screen looks really great.. but sorry to say and i hope i wont offend anyone.. but this aint pba in here.. this is a original mod "UPB" and hope we keep it this way to give "respect" and BIG credit to the ones who started this mod..

i have the biggest respect and credit for the people who created UPB..I don't mean to disrespect the creators by just making it a PBA only theme with my works,for a long time there has been no update with this mod so I decided to share my files as an alternative and not an official update..and i think concentrating on the PBA teams will make this update released much sooner..

Total UPB update would be nice but it will take too long or may not even be completed the way I see it with limited patchers around..but it's not me to decide what should be done..I just created an alternative
