Good night sweet prince
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/28/leslie-nielsen-dead-comed_n_788966.htmlAnother piece of my sense of humor died. Shame. Oh well. He is immortal. Puns/spoofs delivered with deadpan delivery.

Definitely a talented and funny man. 84's a good age, though I must admit I thought he was a bit younger than that. RIP.

Wow that shocked me. Such a funny man, the Naked Gun trilogy was pure awesomness. I think I need to watch those again.
RIP

So did I. It's probably because he hasn't changed in about 20 years. But just a great comedic talent. He'll be missed.

He's in an airplane going to a different destination now.

True, and as with other actors who are getting up there in age, there's the tendency to think of them in their most famous roles which kind of freezes them in time.

His parting words were probably:
"I just want to tell you both good luck, we're all counting on you."

Longer than that. I have Project: Kill on DVD and he looked the same, and that was like 1975 back before he entered comedy. (Well, intentionally.)
ProTip: That film was made in the Philippines. And the director considered it his "best movie."
