I sent a message out to a few modders a while back on a group project of this....I'll forward you those messages and let you know which ones agreed to contribute....

I doubt this would work, but would My Player be able to be used? It would be cool to make a high school guy to college, then copy his stats to the NBA My Player, using an editor.

No it would done just like last year, you copy the whole folder over and rename it, so you can have both games active as once. Your player mode will be tied to NBA not NCAA...

This mod will NOT overwrite your NBA game. With a simple switch of the roster I want you to be able to switch from NBA to NCAA.

I did it last year too, it was the "NCAA Lite" version that was released.

Yea, I was actually planning on adding this as a little bonus. Intramural teams to replace the D-League and if the 3D tool updates like I mentioned before I can re-do a few personal stadiums for 2k10 that have a small gym feel.

I don't think anyone will released a tool that can export court files this year.
I am excited, do classic NCAA teams as well, like the 70s UCLA or something.

EDIT: by the way Jao, my Draft Class has pretty good likenesses using only the tools inside 2k11 create a player so if you want you can use those..

well right now I got 11 of the 30 teams done in terms of copying over their CH 2k8 ratings off the 360 into an excel file. so its off to a good start

I am happy to announce that the hardest, most annoying part of this mod is complete. Copying over the ratings from CH 2k8 into excel to be pasted into REDitor (when it comes out).

man, 2k10's total conversion mods really set a bad precedent. This NCAA mod is going to be like my NCAA Lite mod from last year, no need for a complete 2nd install. So, don't worry about space man.

Will you use jerseys from 2K10 patch? A lot of them are still correct.

I wasn't initially but since 16 of the 30 teams were in the 2K10 version I might as well try to get the other 14 done. I think I'll work on that tomorrow. Shadow modded of course.


I went through my 2k8 reference pictures again and added a new roster field so players who wear t-shirts in 2k8 will have them in this mod (using the shoulder braces).


Updated the first post with new Uniform situation.
