Re: REDitor II (In Development) (Public Alpha Rlsd)

those players arent hidden in the roster, just the iff files

so you would have to make a CAP or do the ratings yourself, assign that iff file to the CAP and then add him to a team

sooo, yes

Re: REDitor II (In Development) (Public Alpha Rlsd)

So they wouldn't already be created? :(

All the players, who are already in the game, are listed in the attached archive a few posts above.
If a player is not there, so he's not in the original 2K roster (though, i don't remember, probably those names were taken from the last updated roster).

I am running Windows Vista x64 bit system. I tried the program on both 2k11 and 2k10 roster files, same errors as above come up.

Good day,

I'm having an "access violation" error when i tried to open up my roster file. I'm using Windows 7 professional 64-bit. Hope you can fix this. Thanks!

Re: REDitor II (In Development)

I have 64-bit Windows Vista. If I download the alpha, will i be able to edit the colors of team jerseys inside .iff files for NBA2K11? Or will i have to wait until the official release until i am able to do that for 2k11 jersey files in REDitor II?

I have tried many programs that claim to be able to edit jerseys in nba2k11, but they give me errors when i try to run them on Windows Vista. Are there any other applications available at the moment that work on windows vista that allow you to decompress 2k11 .iff files successfully, and extract a jersey PNG or something where you can edit the color of the jersey or something with photoshop and that also rebuilds the iff post-editing and compresses the edited .iff correctly?

Can't say anything about this at the moment, as XBox feature is far from been implemented.

Don't know yet. I found where Body Tweaks are stored in files, but it appeared, that they don't make any effect, if used in official rosters. If we're able to find how to activate them, so i will say "yes".

====================================
Btw, guys, we're coming to an end. I think, REDitor II Demo with NBA 2K10 and NBA 2K11 tables will be released by the end of this week. And, of course, it will allow you to enter as long names, as you wish. ;)
Hope, you're following the Changelog in the first post.

So does that mean like none official rosters we will be able to edit body shapes, i understand you guys need it for official
but i play with old school teams so i don't use official rosters, so will people like me be able to edit body's and have it take effect in game :?:

I mean, in the default NBA 2K11 rosters BTs are turned off. As their are still there (in the rosters), i suppose, there is some value, that should be changed in order to activate Body Tweaks. If we're able to find it, so everything will be just nice ))) Otherwise, we won't be able to make superslim players :( I'll report on this topic in a week.
