rebounding and steals in 2K11

Tue Nov 02, 2010 10:29 pm

I've been playing the "creating a legend" in 2K11. And I am 55 games in to the first season. So far I have gotten MJs rebounding reting to around 74 (45 off, 75 def). I am averaging a meager 2 rpg. although I am playing just 5 min rounds. I got a game where I was able to scrap for 9 rebounds. Is playing more minutes the only way to jack up my rebound and steal stats? I try not to camp out in the low post too often as well, because it will leave my man open, and I would get penalized in the teammate rating. I'd like to replicate MJ's stats, but I do not want to commit more time playing. Hehe

so far, here is my stat line:
34 ppg
2 rpg
3 apg
0.4 spg
0.6 bpg
.60 fg%
.92 ft%
.42 3p%
1 fpg
1 tpg

tips on how to grab more steals and rebounds are welcome.

Rebound is about positioning and boxing out, try to figure out where the ball will fall after a shot...

granted it is the samething a real player would do in real life to grab a rebound.

but it seems that it takes too long to recover from boxing out. I think the C/PF I am playing rebounds too well, I thin kI am going to dmand a trade. haha
