I decided to make this thread just dedicated to the awesome dunks of the year so far... Kind of like last years "early canidate for dunk of the year" thread. I've seen 2 pretty good slams so far this season.

Warrick's one was a classic Nash play. I've seen this before as I remember. The best dunk of month.

this has to be by far the most unenthusiastic response to a posterizing and 1 dunk on dwight howard ever.

Reminds me of some talk in one thread about MJ dunking in-game from the free throw line. Shannon jumps fairly far out in this one. Pretty impressive.

I'm just wondering if he will be reinvited to the dunk contest after the major flop from last year.

I think he's in with a shot but if he gets invited back this year, I sure hope he brings some more creativity to the table. Same goes for the entire field of course but given his athleticism, the Let Shannon Dunk campaign and all the hype, he was perhaps the biggest letdown.

This Rose dunk looked like something out of a video game. It wasn't really on anybody but the power on it was intense.

WIlson Chandler threw down this gem on Javale Mcgee tonight.. I love baseline dunks like this.
