About Turn Over, is this a bug?

Tue Mar 16, 2004 7:55 am

When I try to steal the ball from the CPU player or when CPU is inbounding the ball, I knock to ball out of bound, it counts as one turn over. Does anyone of you has this problem? Also, if the shot is blocked, it doesn't count as one attempt.

I didn't know that if you knock the ball out of bounds that it counted as a turnover. I'll have to see.

Thank you! But how about in real NBA game? I think they don't count it as a turnover because I don't even have the procession.

I dunno if this is related to the originally posted statement, but sometimes when I double team the opposition it looks like the defenders' hands are forcing the ball out of the offensive player's hands.

After the ball finally leaks out of the three pairs of hands it's ruled a turnover and posession is turned over to the defense.

It is an error - a blocked shot should register as a missed field goal attempt, and a deflection on an inbounds pass should not count as a turnover if the ball goes out of bounds.

I believe this error was in last year's game as well.

Also, if a teammate on the offense's team recovers a blocked shot and scores, it counts as an attempt.

And, it seams that only blocked layups and dunks count as shots.
