Free trial for NBA league pass till Nov 1st

Just a heads up, didn't see it mentioned, NBA league pass is free till november the 1st. It seems to be the premium package that is on trial, free high quality games!
By the way, works internationally...

On that note, what do you think of the early bird special? 109.95 for broadband league pass.

This has really pissed me off. I re-newed my subscription and they billed me my first monthly fee, now I find out there's a free trial? I would've just left it for another couple of weeks in that case.

um, it's alright i guess. it's $160 early bird for the tv package and that includes the broadband. i prefer the tv package even though it limits me to flipping back and forth between 2 games.

and Jae it's only free for a week and after that week, i don't think you get the early bird special and the price goes up. so it's better to get it early.

I might go for the broadband since at&t does not have nba tv or league pass. I would still be able to watch games through my phone with its internet browser, too.

Anyone have experience in the broadband package? Does it offer replays of any game or HD?

yeah if you have a fancy phone, it's definitely the way to go. i don't have one, but i assume it's a free app downlaod from the android or itunes app store. and obviously broadband is the way to go since AT&T doesn't offer it. video quality is good for some telecasts, maybe a little worse for the channels that haven't updated to HD (ahem, FS milwaukee), very little skipping on the streams and you can watch any finished games from anytime in the season. last year, i watched the kings 35 point comeback on the bulls a month after it happened.

How much of a discount do you actually get with the early bird offer, can't seem to find it. It's 150$ for premium and 110$ for standard now, what would it be after nov 1st, any idea?

About the broadband, the quality from the games I have seen so far is very good, just some framerate drops once in a while nothing too bad (haven't watched any live games though). I can see pixels watching full screen on my 1680x1050 display (it's probably 720p).
