Allen Iverson has agreed on contract with the Chicago Bulls. The 35 year old veteran, couldn't find a team to play on the summer, but even with the many offers he had from Europe and China,he decided to stay as a Free Agent and try his luck for a little more. And just days before the start of the regular season, he agreed with the Bulls on a short-term contract. He signed with the Bulls for 1 year and on this year he will get 5.76 Million dollars.
Bulls get a experienced solution to mentor team's younger player and gives solutions on the shooting guard position, according to GM of the Bulls"Allen is a great choice for us.He's a leader,he's experienced,he can be a great mentor to the younger guys like Derrick [Rose] and Brewer.I'm sure he can help us a lot on the shooting guard position and i'm certain he still has things to prove""I'm really happy to know that there are guys in this league that still trust me.I won't disappoint them"Said combo guard Allen Iverson

November 6,2010 An overall show by Derrick Rose and a great run on the 3rd quarter on the season premier was enough for the Bulls to overcome the tough Indiana Pacers on the Road.
Bulls were the leaders on the whole course of this game, despite Pacers were closing down the score with little runs every 5-6 minutes.Chicago though was stable on the whole game and overscored Indiana on all the 4 quarters. Derrick Rose was putting on a great performance on all the duration of the game.He scored 31 points, dished 10 assists and stole the ball 5 times, resulting on a double-double on the first game of the season. He had a great start as it seems.Luol Deng was a pleasant surprise for the Bulls' coach Tom Thibodeau. He scored 24 points, with some clutch 3 pointers and great % (3-4 for three, 10-12 from inside). Allen Iverson had a solid debut game with 11 points and 5 assists and Korver was a great player from the bench, scoring 10 points having 3 steals and 4 blocks.
Indiana had Darren Collison and Danny Granger on a great night. The sophomore Point Guard had 17 points,11 assists and 5 steals, but turned over the ball 10 times. On the other hand , Danny Granger scored 24 and was the leader again for his team. It's clear though that Indiana desperately needs another Star player ,who can cooperate along with Danny Granger and lead them from an average team to a playoff team. They have though players who have bright future,as Roy Hibbert, who had 10 points and 4 steals and Tyler Hansbrough, who can be developed into great Role Players and help the team on its rebuilding.
Chicago is going to face Phoenix Suns [1-2] on this Tuesday(Nov. 9) on the United Center. Indiana[0-2] will travel at Minnesota and faces the Timberwolves [0-2] who had a bad start as well

Bomb Diggity wrote:Nice game, I like the picture of Rose. Maybe with our imagination, we can picture him doing the Jordan "Mid-air-switch" haha. Because in this picture it looks like how Jordan went up with the right and switched to the left haha! Derrick Jordan?
Good association, good luck man!

I dont know, i just figured it out, coz of the sentence that you would use AI as a SG? thats right?
then i figured out that, Brewer would be out of his place as a starter, and i usually use Korver as a 6th man no matter what team he is in (except for my dynasty)
November 9.United Center,Chicago. Bulls were great on Home as well, and they crashed the Phoenix Suns this time.Though the opponents they've played in these two games are not that powerful( Both are estimated to finish below a playoff spot this season, unless they are strengthen up),Bulls show that they play a quick, concentrated game, which is also effective.
Rose(voted as previous week's East Player) had a great game again. He scored 25 points(11-16 FG,2-4 3PT),did some fancy dunks and moves, and added 6 assists,2 steals,1 block and 1 rebound ,despite having a foul trouble from the second quarter, which resulted in him playing less than expected.Deng was great again, showing that this year he's more mature as ever, and that his performance in Indiana wasn't just like a shooting star.Scored 24 points(10-15 FG,2-2 3PT),grabbed 5 rebounds and gave 3 assists.Korver was again a great help from the bench and scored 16 points (7-14 FG,2-7 3PT) helping the Bulls maintain the lead easily while the star players were taking some breaths. Noah had 9 rebounds but only 2 points and Boozer 6 points with 5 rebounds (Bulls starters on the paint hadn't stepped up yet it seems) and Iverson added 10 points(4-5 FG)
On the losing side,Phoenix had Steve Nash leading the scoring with 17 points ,but he was alone today and totally lacking of a scorer as his many great passes resulted only in 4 assists, due to poor finishing by the Suns.J-Rich had 13 points and newly acquired(Trade involved Grant Hill) Andre Miller and Joel Pryzbilla scored 9 and 7 points respectively.
Bulls[2-0] will play with the Los Angeles Clippers[0-2] on the Windy City on Satuday[Nov. 13],before going for their Annual "Circus Trip" for two weeks, playing the next 7 games on the road.Phoenix Suns[1-3] will now try to bounce back and will travel to Cleveland to play with the Cleveland Cavaliers[1-1] tomorrow night [Nov. 11]
