TheMC5, He certainly would. In my rosters however, he's rated a 70 (rather than the game's default rating for him of 60) so I can't get him for the minimum. I also want to eventually move Bargs to the 4.

hova-, Well I have Barbosa, but he's fairly inconsistent, true to real life. Some games he scores at will, while in others, he's useless.

dare, Recap is short, but I'm not a huge fan of long ones. Old recapping style became a bit of a chore.

Justine., He came off the bench to play nearly all the minutes at C

The X, Sit, Houndy, Thanks :)

De8, Hell yeah! Then David Andersen will get his time to shine in a starting role.

Martti., The Cheat got destroyed, but the sim engine seems to like them overall. (maybe not as much as in my 2K11 association where they were on pace to win 75 but whatevs). It's tempting to pursue the Meal Ticket, but it woud likely cost me Bargs and Ed Davis. May be looking into some trades soon if I don't start to win though...

Thierry., Thanks Thierry. I think I'd have to take Randolph from Walsh's cold, dead hands...

Wondering what roster are you using and you are playing on Pro right?

It appears that I have 24 submissions for the draft class, so I think I'll be doing a dozen NLSC'ers per class now. (Y)

No es justo!

6 games in, and we have managed to come up with 0 wins. That game against New York seems to be a fluke, as we have yet to finish within single digits since. To be fair though, we faced some pretty tough competition. It's totally cool that two-time NBA all-star Antawn Jamison dropped 39 on us in a 122-89 drubbing on our home floor. It is too be expected that juggernauts like the Kings blow us out!

I only caught the Kings game, the Blazers game and the first half of the Jazz game (before I turned that shit off). Surprisingly, we held our own the best in Portland. If not for role player Nicolas Batum scoring a season high 27 points on us (weird how unlucky we are with players having huge nights against us!), we may have taken that one!

Probably not, but I was pleased with what I saw from the team in the garden of Oden...

Image Image
Smalldridge always comes up big against Toronto! | All DeMar can do is dunk, making him our best player.

Image Image
Amir has been solid, and surprisingly only fouling out twice! | All these players received technical fouls.

phpBB [video]

Barbosa hits an insane buzzer beater three to end the half in Sac-Town.

6 games in, this team is obviously in dire need of a change. Losing the first 6 games of the season by an average of 21 points will do that to you. Jay Triano's strategy is to replace the struggling Jarrett Jack in the starting 5 with the disgruntled, defensively challenged Jose Calderon. While pretty much every player on the roster is being shopped, our only lucrative asset is our #1 projected 2011 draft pick. Whether he's doing a good job or not, Triano may need to be the sacrificial lamb if we don't at least win a game or two this month.

In other, actually important news, Allen Iverson somehow managed to sign an MLE level deal with the Phoenix Suns, who already have Steve Nash, Goran Dragic, Jason Richardson and Josh Childress. Fellow washed-up chucker Larry Hughes reunited with the Cavs for the vet minimum. Finally, Flip Murray found his 9th NBA home in Utah...

Good start. Harrison would be like the Hedo for your first Saur Losers. You could move Barbosa/Barnes to the point, and use them well

I suppose its a good start if I'n trying to get Barnes. :P There are still 76 games for us to lose most of though. I see Barnes as more of a very rich man's Luol Deng than anything else.

"garden of Oden". Nice.

Kinda weird how role players are taking dumps all over you. BTW, wasn't there somebody named McDwyane here in the NLSC? Why was that "McDwyane shitass" named after him?

Batum and Meal Ticket have dropped huge numbers, I guess Darko, Salim Stoudamire and Kevin Love are next.

Tough start, you did have some tough opponents, but losing to the Cavs by 30? Not good at all..

Nice to see Bargnani played some good games, I think you should get Irving because you really need a PG and I don't really like Calderon.

Axel., Oh yes. He was also known as conversewade, xbox360, and like 50 other spambot-esque usernames. Was hilarious at times though.

De8, Yeah, they were killing me so bad that I simmed to end midway through, and they continued to do work.

The X, Here's hoping I can go at least 1-11 over the next dozen games. :P

Martti., No shame in Love destroying me, considering he's better than Melo. Might have to sign Salim before he can drop 50 on Calderon.

hova-, Starting Calderon over Jarrett Jack.
