Not the best roster (actually the worst in the game). Maybe you can develop someone on the roster into an all-star (hey, even Jamal Magloire has been to the ASG before), but I doubt that you'll reach the postseason.

Yeah, the team is quite turrible. A few games into the season, the results have done little to dispel that belief so far. Would love to get Bargs into the ASG, but we'll see.

Trying a slightly different recap style this time around. Still doing the "play 29, sim 53" thing, but I'll be recapping them a different way. Hope it works. (Y)

Lamrock, it's going to be kind of hard to "unleash" Ronald Dupree if he's an injured reserve. and nice MS Painting.

Good roster. If I had time, I'd do a team comparison with T'wolves to see who was had better roster :P

Yeah, as some said, I like the Raps roster too. But no team chemistry there (N) Hope you can change that! And great book picture, lol.

Yes, the Meal Ticket did just drop 33 and 17 on us.

$100 is mine! Unsurprisingly, the Craptors lost their season opener 91-82. What was surprising was who led the way. Anthony "Meal Ticket" Randolph dropped a ridiculous 33 points and grabbed 17 boards (both career highs). I know our interior D is weak but Jesus Christ!

On the bright side, DeMar DeRozan dunked a lot, only two Knicks scored in double digits, Amir Johnson was good and we hung with the Knicks throughout. If Andrea Bargnani concedes 33/17 to his match-up and shoots 4-18 every game, I wouldn't be surprised if we entered Nets territory. May need to try and snag His Dampness for the minimum...

Some high (and low)lights from the opener:

He shoots... he misses! | Kleiza wasn't turrible...

Knicks @ Raptors At A Glance
October 27, 2010 | Air Canada Centre

Image 26 22 18 25 91 (1-0)
Anthony Randolph: 33/17/1, 14-22 FG (JORDAN Player of the Game)
Amar'e Stoudemire: 20/6/2
Danilo Gallinari: 9/5/1
Image 25 16 23 18 82 (0-1)
DeMar DeRozan: 23/1/2, 9-12 FG
Amir Johnson: 10/13/1, 4-7 FG
Andrea Bargnani: 11/9/2, 4-18 FG (McDWYANE Shitass of the Game)

In other news, the Miami Cheat were blown out 107-77 in their season opener against the Celtics. D-Flop had just 7 points, while LeQueen struggled to score 22 on 23 shots, and CBWhore had a solid 15-8 line. Delonte West 2, LeBron 0.

Liam out.

With or without Look For Post Players set at 80, I'm horrible at this game. Big reason I'm sticking with Toronto is because it won't be unrealistic to lose every single game. I can defend, but I'm turrible at offense.

There is a learning curve with this game and for casual gamers like me, will take a shitload of time to get accustomed to. :(

What do you guys think of the recap? I think its fairly clean and concise (and meant to be read, not glanced at), but I'd like to get some input on this.

I actually think Damp would be good pick up, mostly cause I'd like to see AB should start at the 4.

Good recap, definitely youre style. As this game is an "NBA" game, you can really do much with off the dribble moves and isos rather than playing the ball around for the open player (which works, too, but is more difficult). You're problem may be that you have no guy who can create his own shot in real life, so I doubt it will work in the game. At least I am not the only one who keeps loosing in his dynasties.

Randolph was a beast. Is he the starting PF and Stat at the C? The Celtics totally killed the Heat

I like it, nice and simple. Meal Ticket sure had his way with you. You should get him for Amir "6-fouls-in-6-minutes" Johnson and some fillers.

Also, Miami lost by 20 when I started an association in my 2K11, but I couldn't see the player stats because of the graphics. :P
