Yeah, the games are on in the morning between midday and 9 am though. But at least Fox Sports are showing it!

That's where an IQ would come in handy. My VCR allows timer record on the AV input though, so I'll just have to check the times and remember to set it up to record.

At least they're showing it this time round? Fox actually acquired rights. Wow.

I remember 06 when I was streaming it live...

Pretty sure Fox Sports had it back in 2006, I seem to remember watching a couple of games.

Has there been any indicator as to whether we're going to get any pre-season games televised this year? We have done so the last few years. Usually the international exhibition games.

Good to see you again. (Y) My spirits have been dampened a little by Boozer's injury but I'm still looking forward to the new season too.

Game six of the 2006 Finals is on ONE Saturday evening. Probably other Classic games leading up to the season, too.

No way in hell is that game a Classic. It should be fucking deleted from the records along with the whole series

Still have that one on tape somewhere I believe so I might give it a miss but hopefully there'll be others. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, I have the DVD, and only watched it a couple of months ago, so I probably won't bother to tune in either. Not entirely sure how they're considering that game a classic.

Ignoring the FT-fest or the hate for Wade, being down 0-2 and being able to win the championship with 4 consecutive wins is a bit impressive don't you think? Classic right there.

I wouldn't say that game on its own is really all that special, nor is it really old enough to earn the 'classic' tag IMO. Far preferred the stuff they were showing last year - the Flu Game, The Shot, whichever game it was Stockton hit that game-winner over Barkley, that sort of thing.

I think he's trolling. The Cheat should have been swept in 2006. That whole series was a joke. Just thinking about it makes me want to beat the shit out of David Stern.

Thing is, the worst call in the series came at the end of overtime in a one-point game. If the series was rigged, it was done poorly.

Cheers mate, and i didnt even realise Boozer was injured..? But yeah so many teams have an entire new look, so will be very keen to see it all plays out.

Also thanks for the heads up about the game on ONE koberulez. I know all about the series, but i cant say i remember watching it.. Possibly the year before i had Foxtel..

While I enjoyed the 2006 Finals more than most, I'd have to agree Game 6 wasn't a classic or any kind of landmark game in NBA history. I suppose it makes sense to show it though, given the hype surrounding Miami this season.

That's what I'm thinking, too. This is going to form part of the beginning stages of all Miami, all the time. :(

We'll at least get a few Bulls games as well. Hopefully between the two channels there'll be just enough variety to keep things fresh though the regular season. And in any case, I have to admit that I'm interested to see how things work out for Miami and how they'll play this season, even if I'm not a fan, so I can live with it so long as they're not consistently featured three times a week.

Now that ive got a good paying job and im not back to uni until March im thinking about getting League Pass. And even when im at uni, its only 2-3 days a week and i can watch the archive of the games, so would be good. Also got 120GB of downloads now and a great speed.

So yeah im considering that. Also i enjoyed the Nets v Rockets game. Both got heaps of new players, Houston was like a new team. They might do pretty well this season..

Sounds like a decent investment. (Y) Since my Foxtel subscription has given me access to ESPN 360, I'll probably be making use of that at times this season.

How did foxtel give you 360 access? we might have it too..

also, how much is league pass and how much downloads does a game use? i might get it too, now that we're also on 120gb
