Good to see Howard working on his post game, you'd be hard pressed to find a better teacher than The Dream.

He taught Kobe well, so hopefully all goes well with Howard too. :)

good. because, if you learn something from 1-time MVP and 2-time nba champion, it will affect you goodly.

That was a pretty cool clip, I'd love to see Hakeem go at Dwight at full pace. I bet he'd still school him.

He might not be able to go at full pace for very long though, so Dwight might be able to outlast him. Hakeem does appear to be in pretty good shape though, I reckon he could still put up 20-10 in the NBL.

His last years with the Raptors etc were really sad though.

Agreed, it wasn't a very fitting postscript to a great career.

Only two more seasons and he's done. Apparently.

Two more seasons of watching him run over all of his opponents. (Y)

At least we won't have to watch his, in the words of Shaq, "sad-ass Pat Ewing hook shot" as frequently, if he can actually successfully integrate any of Hakeem's moves (which I rather doubt, as Howard generally seems too indecisive on offense to pull off Hakeem's quick spins and fakes).

I don't think he's ever going to rival Hakeem's post game, he's not going to have the same fluidity or comfort in those moves, but I'd expect him to at least make use of a couple of things he's learned from The Dream during these sessions.

Yeah, Dream's footwork was fucking insane. To me, that's natural - you either have it or do don't.

I guess playing football(soccer) in his childhood helped somewhat in his footwork.

No doubt. When you can make other superb athletes like David Robinson look clumsy, that's something special.

No kidding, guys. The Dream's moves and footwork were just insane. He didn't have Shaq's physique but still was able to own other bigs in his era with just skills.
