The Golden State Warriors season got on the way Friday night here in Oakland in front of a packed arena of die hard fans wanting to see there Warriors who are now under just ownership with a new coach and a new leash of life restore the magic of "We Believe" saw here just a few years a go when Baron Davis lead the Warriors in a 1st round upset over the Utah Jazz.

Facing the Jazz in there first game of the 2010/2011 season would be no easy match up as both teams one at the top of there game and the other... well the Warriors who have has a troubled past with players , coachs and management opened this new chapter behind steady play from there dynamic back court of Stephen Curry and Monta Ellis who scored 17 and 15 points respectable.

The Jazz showed excellent defence inside and out with newly re-signed shooting guard Raja Bell who proved he can still put the breaks on the best of them, Deron Williams and Al Jefferson both scored 13 points a each.

Gordon Hayward (Jazz) - 8 points in 6 minutes 2nd quarter (2-2 3 pointers)

Yeah as it happens the Pacers were a top choice for me but i think it was with me been a knicks fan i couldnt bring myself to making them a winning

It was low il be honest i messed with the sliders a lot during this game but i expect as i get used to the game the scores will go up.

Hazed !

Rookie "hazing" has been going on in the nba for longer than i can remember and this year is no different for 3 Warrior rooks, Ekpe Udoh the Bay areas 6th pick has been handed a different costume to wear each to and from training each day such as "Buzz lightyear" , "Batman" and "Shrek"...

"Ive had some looks *laughs* , i even had to get gas at the station with Monta sitting in the car"

Jeremy Lin has being handed the task of waiting on Charlie Bell's every need bringing him food and drink every day at 7am and through out the day as well as carrying his bags everywhere.

"I think i got it pretty easy ! I could be having to complete this task for Eddy Curry !! "

Jeff Adrien went un drafted but not un noticed on the court in training camp earning himself a spot on the roster and the job of being hazed by center Andris Biedrins who happens to be a movie buff and has Jeff watching film after film at home so Bied's can shout out a random quote like "Il be back" in which case Jeff would have to shout out the movie its from ... "Terminator" ... failing to do so results in a suicide at training, Jeff was unavailable for comment as he was making his way through the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Oracle Arena , Oakland.

Ex-Warrior Baron Davis lead his Clippers into his former stomping ground with there eyes on the prize playing the passing game they built a steady lead through out the game with second chance points , playing the passing lanes and good old shot blocking.

The Clippers were lead by allstar center Chris Kaman's 23 points 14 rebounds who thought they had sealed the deal after building a 16 point 1st half lead it looked all over until rookie Jeremy Lin went toe to toe with star Baron Davis in the 3rd quarter, Lin hitting the shots Davis making the passes.
Lin came off the to score 11 points in 10 minutes hitting 3 3pointers (3-3) which narrowed the lead down to 5 going into the 4th.

The 4th quarter belonged to Stephen Curry , Monta Ellis of the Warriors and Clippers rookies Blake Griffin and Al-Farouq Aminu who matched baskets until the game was tied at 101-101 when Kaman missed a jump shot with 15 seconds left the ball was tipped between Blake and Brandan Wright before it was in the hands of Monta Ellis , 5 seconds on the clock.... he shoots for 3 ...Swish !
