Graphical differences between PC and PS3/360 version of 2K11

Postby ebucemag on Wed Oct 06, 2010 12:05 am

There is a rumor going around that the PC version of NBA 2k11 is actually just a port (graphically) of 2K10 with this year new game-play features. Is this true? Is there any graphical (and game-play for that matter) differences between the PS3/360 version and PC version of the game? I know the menu's are different but I really don't care as long as the in-game graphics are the same.

Thanks

P.S. If we seriously got a graphical port of 2K10 for 2K11 PC, I am going to be f*ucking pissed, that would be bullshit. I would gladly pay $60 for the "Full Featured Version" AKA the 360/PS3 version. But hopefully I am just getting ahead of myself and the PC version is identical, other then the menu's.

Both are the same. Kobe is an alien in all of them. They didn't even upgrade the graphics for 2K11, anyways. So, same shit, just new players, jerseys, courts, etc. That's why the specs are the same. There wan't anything new or special in the 360/PS3 versions as far as graphics go.

The game added nothing graphically anyway. If you noticed, nobody really talked about the game graphically during the demo, just about the overhaul in the gameplay. Im happy enough to have the superior version graphically...

what about the possibility of editing a file config.exe computer version - might just as in NBA2K10 to change the value MSAA quality and other for example from 2 to 4 or 7 etc.

ok but I'm talking about MSAA quality , value quality in the game is only two, it may depend on which graphics card you have ( i have gtx 275) try editing the config. exe in notepad and change for example on 6

just make the cfg read only after editing else the game resets it.

[the config.cfg must be set to read only in attributes after editing or the game will overwrite it and reset any changes.

The graphic is horrible. I have all my setting to high and the players look like cartoons. The AI and game playing is almost perfect but dam, the graphic suck. 2k9 was so much better but it's been down hell with graphic since 2k10.

What are you talking about? After tweaking some settings in cfg file the graphics couldn't be better... You can actually see the sweat dropping from a player's face.

I may have something of the brain or the eyes but the change in config.exe Anisotropic quality at 16 and I have in the game such a value , the game seems to me to be visually much better but can it really a problem of perception, if not ......... ........... significant drop in fps
