3 Pt Shot's

Hey all,

I can't make a 3 pt shot and also CPU can't make one either. I play on sim sliders and allstar difficulty. What is the problem? I mean the procentage is around 15%...

lower the difficulty and dont play with the sim sliders?

Take the Da Czar's advice and drop the difficulty down to pro/sim and get used to the iso motion controls and it will all come together soon enough. http://www.operationsports.com/newspost.php?id=448316

I turned on the jumpshot help. It tells you if your release is late, early, or good on all jumpshots. There is still some BS, though.

Seriosuly though, try going to practice mode and see shot feedback. There's more to "just pressing a button" in shooting on NBA 2k11

But the problem is, that CPU to can't make a shot... If it was just me, then it would be OK but why CPU misses almost all long range shots?

Increase the 3 point shot back to 50 for both cpu % user, when we now the correct address we can use it on my player and Jordan challenges with tsearch on the pc.

The CPU takes a lot of threes to start, but there also is an issue where they're taking them with guys who should not be. You can leave guys with 20% 3pt shots semi-open and they'll take them. I can't complain too much as this makes defense easier but it is something that could use a patch.

On the other end, the three point shot is a bit different from past 2K's, but if you create proper space you can start hitting them fairly easily and get things down to hit more difficult ones.

I have noticed that, too. I've been able to hit them with Jordan on All-Star, and custom-sim sliders after creating space, but I have a major problem with John Paxson's timing. I release at the top but the jumpshot feedback sais I am late.

We can always just take note of the peopel jacking them up who shouldn't be and lower their tendency. Or you can lower the cpu's global tendency slider to shoot 3's. Or the team's coaching profile 3pt tendency.
