ESPN launching a Miami Heat website...

Postby Rip32 on Tue Oct 05, 2010 4:06 am

http://www.sportingnews.com/nba/story/2010-10-04/espn-launches-website-section-dedicated-to-heat-coverage

ESPN plans to launch a section on its website next week that will be dedicated to all things Miami Heat. "The Heat Index" will launch Oct. 11 on ESPN.com's NBA section with daily columns, videos and news on the NBA team, plus videos, audio, photos, social media elements and automated modules. The site will focus on breaking news and coverage of each Heat practice and game.

This has to be the low point in the in the massive hype machine ESPN has created involving the Heat. Although I'm happy that Brian Windhorst, the reporter in Cleveland who was on top of all the LeBron stuff this offseason, moved up in the world, this actually makes me cringe to know that this team is going to have it's own website affiliated with a network that's supposed to be unbiased. we all know that's not true though

Turrible.

We get 2 ESPN games per week here. No prizes for guessing who 99% of those games will feature.

It's a bit much but I can't blame them for making the most of the hype. It goes a step beyond their other sites which offer coverage of the major sports in certain cities (ESPN Chicago, ESPN Los Angeles etc) but it's still along the same lines.

It's a bit ridiculous though. They should make an ESPN Wolves Watch. :)

There will be people actually watching the Heat, though. You've got to give them that.

Yeah, a shitload of people desperately trying to cling onto the already-full bandwagon as it pulls away from LeBron's Land of Narcissistic Perceptions.

U mad?

Heat going to win the title again this season after all the wait from 2006! :applaud:   :applaud: (Y) (Y) :applaud: (Y)

Enjoy your star player Dirk who's not good enough to carry his team and be prepared to see him choke again in the playoffs.

Like I posted twice in another thread, the playoffs is the real stage where great legends has made their names at. No matter how great Dirk has been, he deserves to be called a choker especially a player of his caliber.

Oh, I'm glad to see that Heat fans are as obnoxious as they ever were. I sure didn't see many of them between 2007-2010. Nice to see them display their lifelong dedication to their team in droves now.

As for Dirk, we clearly went over this elsewhere and I'm sure you were witness to such a discussion, so you're clearly baiting.

If they were to for some reason have given the Lakers their own ESPN website instead you would have shit yourself in outrage.

So guys like Zanshadow have a website to jerk off to in the middle of the night when they wake up with a raging hard on from the wet dream of Lebron shoving his cock in his ear.
