Where am I going to buy 2k11? Damn!!!!
I still haven't found a site that offers pre-order of digital game or any info on the game being available on October 5, 2010 for digital download.
JaoSming stated that Onlive will offer it for buy & download.

NBA 2k10 wasn't on any of the digital distribution sites until the release IIRC

Wrong. It was available for pre-order @gamersgate.com before initial release date.

and gamersgate was the site that messed up, sold the game 5 days early and released the patch before they were supposed to
point is, it's the internet, the game probably isn't going to show up on those sites until maybe Monday, there is no need to freak out about it.

Nobody's freaking out

I just want to know for sure that I will be playing it on PC on October 5, 2010

Wait...so is the game $30 this year instead of $20?
Thu Sep 30, 2010 3:48 am
yep
-JJ-, i was referring to aguifs' post
Thu Sep 30, 2010 3:48 am
Yep. Blame Jordan for the price increase.
Thu Sep 30, 2010 4:11 am
Eh it's still better than $60

inbar but if you order it online from Gamestop or where ever you get it online you wont get it until Oct 7th
if you do what i did go into Gamestop and if they pre order it there for you at the store they guarantee the game in
stock two days before the release date, of course they will not let you have it until the 5th but you will have
it guaranteed on Oct the 5th all they require is $5.00 down on the game then you pay the rest on the 5th

Does anyone know whether this year pirates will be able to play NBA 2K11 online ? Will the DVD version still come without a serial number as it was last year?

the only detail known about the PC version of 2K11 is that it will feature the same exact control scheme as the 360 version....I'm pretty sure none of us have confirmed anything else.

If they can't, that means no online players from China and Russia!

I like the console version a bit better, because it's what I'm used to. But the PC one sounds great. You can play it on a plane, correct?
Thu Sep 30, 2010 8:15 am
I don't see why not?

why not just buy it and support 2k, and this game has so much to it ill bet they put restrictions on it this year

in your case or any pirates case i hope they do

Are they going to have the shoe squeak and the ball bouncing echo fixed in PC?

Does that mean I won't be able to do isomotion moves with the keyboard this year? In 2k10, I could do isomotion moves by using different combinations of turbo, clutch and spin buttons. Would it mean that I must buy a 360 controller to execute isomotion moves?

If it includes the same alternate controller configurations, you're probably going to be fine.

Last year I was able to purchase and download early from Gamersgate. The problem with a digital version is it can't be re-sold or traded in next year when the next version arrives.
This year I pre-ordered the PC version from Amazon. There was a $20 off promotion, which brought the total price including over night shipping to $19.95.
I will likely buy a PS3 copy at Gamestop then take advantage of their return policy when the PC version arrives. Every time I buy a game there they tell me about people who keep the game for a few weeks then return it.

Excuse me fool, but how the fuck did you assume that I am a pirate, considering that in all my previous posts in this topic I was making inquiries about where to pre-order/buy the original game?
I was only interested in the fact whether pirates will get a chance to play online, since last year with NBA 2K10 being sold without unique registration #/SN# online (locally) was filled with pirates who obliviously had never previously played any nba 2k game, therefore in most cases of successful connect you end up playing against cheesers or early quitters.
I actually appreciate 2ksports and NBA 2k series so much that every year I want to buy a spare copy just to show my gratitude. I would not mind paying 100$ for since its worth every ****ing penny, especially considering the replay value of the game! I was always a fan of basketball (both watching and playing) and I actually never imagined that somebody could pull off a simulation as good as 2ksports have done throughout the years. Actually in past the only reason why I bought console (Dreamcast, PS2, XBOX 360) was mainly because of NBA 2K basketball, but now that it is also available on PC I cannot be more pleased.

Tbh pc version is the best one... it allways had better graphics and also is easy to customize.
This game is also a lot of cheaper in pc version... 30 dollars is nothing, i bought mafia2 for 50 dollars and play it 10 hours (the story ends so i never touch it again).
With nba2k10 for example i played 561 hours

0.05 dollars per hour
